Excellent property! It was immaculately clean with a fantastic view. The communication with the host was easy peasy, they were always available! This property had a lot of amenities that a hotel would provide. Beautiful location which was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, serene getaway.

When we arrived to the lake house after our 12 hour road trip from NC, it was awesome to see the excitement from my family as we arrived while everyone checked out the property.We all were comfortable in the home. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much any dish/utensil you could think of. The views were amazing. We enjoyed waking up to the variety of wildlife while sipping coffee lake side. The kayaks were very much enjoyed by all. My brother, sister and I did the loop around the West River and it was absolutely gorgeous. We also checked out Clark’s Gully at the top of the hill. On some downtime we had fun with the game room. Sat out by the fire a few nights. My husband, 4 sons, brother, sister and I all really enjoyed our stay! There was so much to do just at the house and we weren’t ready to leave. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for providing an amazing place!

This place is s dream!

We had such a nice time at this lake house. So relaxing! My immediate thought was that it would be a good place to vacation with another family or friends, too. We were there with me, my husband and our two elementary-school-aged kids. Be warned that you will need to bring your own coffee, but the place was clean, well kept, decorated cute and the proximity to the lake is on point! The dock and the back porch were our favorite places to hang out. A great place to see the stars and wildlife. We saw a huge cray fish, a bald eagle and a blue heron, just to name a few! We would definitely stay here again!

Girls night on the lake

Finger Lakes Fun

Cute house on Lake Canandaigua! We enjoyed kayaking, making s'mores in the firepit under the stars and relaxing on the screened in porch. The house has everything you need for a great getaway! Host was very responsive.

Great well-equipped house on the water

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The area was very quiet during the week. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming in the lake. There is a lot of duck weed and seaweed in the water that some people might not appreciate but was not a big deal for us. The water pressure varied and was not very strong. We didn’t mind much but others might. We would recommend bringing bottled water, as described in the listing, there were times that drinking water was not flowing very well. The air conditioning kept the house cool on hotter days. The screened in porch was wonderful. The owner was communicative and helpful and the stay was excellent!

Quiet Scenic Getaway

The house was clean and cute, located right on the water. The fire pit and screened in back porch were the highlights of our stay. We spent our mornings drinking coffee and watching the water and wildlife. 10 minute drive to Naples and 30 minute drive to downtown Canandaigua. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we will definitely be booking again for a longer stay!

Quick Girls Trip

Ginelle's property was EXACTLY as described, honestly in person it exceeded expectations. The setting was stunning, we spent most of the evening on the screened-in porch looking at the lake, playing games, chatting, and laughing. It was wonderful! We really appreciated that we had everything we could need and there was enough seating, plates, etc, for the number of people the cottage could sleep. Ginelle's communication was fantastic and everyone in the group wanted to come back with their families or partners. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat...I actually find myself daydreaming about it often!

Relaxing Weekend Retreat

We had a relaxing, clean and comfortable weekend stay. One of our favorite things to do in the morning was have coffee on the back porch and watch the wildlife on the lake. Restaurants and shops in Naples were close by, we went hiking at Grimes Glen to see the waterfalls. There is so much to do nearby and/or just stay in and enjoy the lake views and unwind. I can't wait until our next visit.
