A sign or signs would help, I was left hanging around the bar to ask about c/in the bar staff then pointed me to someone who was busy taking a long food order, they then eventually directed me to someone else who then said they were busy and I would need to wait for them... "I stood at this family guesthouse for four nights when travelling on business in the area during May-June. The rooms are all upstairs, tidy neat, well-lighted and nicely decorated. You enter by their restaurant which, by the way, has very tasty seafood platters every day made by chef Steve, who also prepares an excellent English breakfast every morning. Although there appears to be no A/C, only heater, it's not needed because you are right next to the bay which provided very comfortable weather,...

"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!"
