Great location and a responsive host. We ran into a couple of small issues during our stay, but the owner responded quickly and fixed them right away, which we appreciated. Communication was easy throughout.Just a note that parking isn’t on-site — we used a public lot about a 10-minute walk away that can be reserved online in advance and was reasonably priced. We were able to briefly stop near the apartment to unload bags before parking.

The apartment's location was great. We were close to many restaurants, cafés, and shops. The place was clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. There are a few flights of stairs to climb, so keep that in mind if that may be difficult for you. I would recommend staying here.

The location of this apartment is awesome. Being on the fifth floor makes for some quiet from the busy street, but you can see all the action down below from the balcony. The only downside is that the four flights of stairs makes you think twice when leaving the house for the day, because you don't want to forget something and have to come back. You definitely get your steps in, but it was worth it to be that close to the fun of historic Lisbon.

Great location off Rua Augusta

You feel like you are in the middle of all of the Lisbon action with this location. The apartment does have a lot of stairs, as many others have noted. The only issue we had was somehow the owner thought we were arriving 5 hours late (even though all emails stated otherwise) so when we got there at the 2 pm check in time apartment was not ready.

Wonderful apartment

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Lisbon. It is in a great location, on a wonderful pedestrian street full of restaurants, bakeries and shops. At night we enjoyed opening the balcony doors and watching/listening to the musicians performing in the street below and the people singing and dancing along. The view from the apartment is fantastic. We loved being in an upper level apartment, with views of the surrounding buildings with their tile roofs. The apartment is in walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in Lisbon. Miguel was very communicative and helpful. He gave us many recommendations for things to do in Lisbon. He also gave us many restaurant suggestions, and even tailored his recommendations to one of our daughters dietary needs. The apartment was very comfortable for my husband, our four teenage/young adult children, and me. The apartment is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed there. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Central location, large apartment

We had a lovely stay at Miguel’s apartment. It is on a busy street, but the street noise wasn’t loud or even noticeable at all. Apartment is walkable to several notable areas and a major train station (Rossio), which we really enjoyed. Miguel’s communication was excellent as well— Very prompt and accommodating.

Exceptional communication from owner in advance and during stay. Location couldn’t be better right in the centre of Lisbon. Adjacent to great restaurants and bars and steps from Metro. Only challenge was 74 steps up the four floors to the apartment. But worth it.

This apartment was a perfect location on Rua Augusta which is a bustling pedestrian street leading to the river. Lots of shops and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Paul's Restaurant for breakfast.

Great spot, great hosts!

This is a great location if you want to spend a few days in Lisbon! Centrally located and within walking distance of some good restaurants and bars. Ester and Miguel are amazing and attentive hosts. They answer any questions within minutes and will give local recommendations. The balcony gives an amazing view of a very popular area in Lisbon. Full disclaimer, it is on the fifth floor with stair access only but if you’re coming to Lisbon, you will be doing a lot of uphill/ downhill walking anyway so it really isn’t all that bad. Would recommend to any friends and family and will look forward to staying here once again in the future.

We loved this place. It’s in the heart of the city; everything you’d want to see or do is nearby, either walking distance or from the nearby train station. Rua Augusta is special; lively and interesting and beautiful. You’re a five minute stroll from Placa Comercio and the Rio Tejo. And the apartment is lovely. Excellent mattresses, two bathrooms, a great shower, and helpful, pleasant hosts. We will be back!

Great location, clean and spacious, BUT the stairs!

Great overall stay. Good amenities. Close proximity to public transportation. Good communication with the owner and property manager. But the stairs are a killer, especially if you have luggage. Narrow, uneven and seemingly endless.
