There was a bit of confusion about how to pay VRBO, and I got the entrance information late for check-in. I really wish that VRBO would be more transparent on how & when to pay for the rental, and how the check-in process should go. As for the property itself...we were generally pleased with the cleanliness, location, and the overall appearance of the rental. There were a couple of small problems though. When we got in the rental, the main air conditioning unit in the living room area did not respond to the remote control. I contacted the host, and they suggested I try the other remote for the bedroom unit, and that one worked. On closer inspection, I realized that someone had removed one of the batteries on the main AC remote, and did not replace it. I took a photo, and sent it to the host. Also, that same unit (in the living room) leaked water (from condensation) and we put a large bowl below it to capture the drips. We avoided using that unit for the rest of our stay.In the bathroom, the large (overhead) shower head did not work. The spray head worked, but was problematic as it caused leaks when the shower door was closed. Again, not a big deal, but it should be looked into by the host. The last suggestion goes toward comfort. There were only two rolls of toilet paper for a week long stay with two occupants. We bought more, and left the bulk of the package for future visitors. There was also no salt & pepper in the kitchen. Set up the guests for comfort.
