Clean and new

A great spot to stay in Lisbon. It is a small but fully stocked apartment. I was glad to have the roller shades and big windows to allow for crossbreeze. The one thing I was hoping for was an elevator as the steps to the top were many and steep and tricky to lug a suitcase up. Otherwise, perfect!

Clean place with everything we needed

Excellent directions, lots of amenities. Comfortable bed. Not able to hear street noise with windows closed. Enjoyed our stay!

great location in Lisbon

This was our second stay in Lisbon and we loved this location. It was close to the metro station, grocery store and restaurants. The apartment was very well designed and appointed. It is also the cleanest VRBO place I have stayed in! The bed was super comfortable. Loved the keyless entry system. Carlos was very responsive to our needs. I definitely recommend this property.

Another great stay

This is our second stay at Stupendo in the past year. This one was three weeks. The property is very nice It is well equipped and well located. Communications with Carlos was excellent and he was very responsive to requests.I highly recommend this property when staying in Lisbon.

Very Comfortable Stay in Lisbon

We had a wonderful experience staying at Stupendo. The location was perfect for getting around Lisbon, and yet a short distance away from the very “touristy” noise and expense. The unit was well appointed and exactly as you see in the photos. The furnishings were comfortable and the bed in particular was very comfortable. The unit provided complete privacy and peace and quiet. Carlos was very easy to communicate with and he was very happy to accommodate us to ensure that we had an easy and comfortable stay. The owner at Verdura de Arroios made us very nice coffee each morning as we set out for our day of sightseeing, and in the evenings we enjoyed a few delicious Italian dinners at Portofino. Both are just around the corner from the unit.

Total Walkable Sight

We were very happy with how clean, modern and comfortable this proprty was! The washer dryer combo was a bonus. Food, restaurants, everything needed was right there. We walked to the castle and museum andcwe were grateful for the parking garage.

Great for a short-term stay

I stayed in this apartment for a few days and it was great. There was lots of natural light and switches as well, lots of thought put into decor, how the place is used, and would stay again.

An Excellent

We stayed in Stupendo for 17 days in October-November 2024. The apartment is well located on a quiet street. The apartment is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a stay. It was very nice to have laundry in the apartment. Amenities near the apartment are very good with many restaurants and two close grocery stores. The Metro station is a five - eight minute walk. Carlos was exceptional to deal with. He was easy to contact and looked after us very well. We will definitely stay there on our next trip.

A calm spot in Lisbon

Carlos was responsive, cordial, and the listing is accurate. Stairs were a bit tough with our suitcases but we knew in advance from the listing so we perservered. The free parking in the nearby garage is very appreciated as street parking is difficult. The apartment was a welcome respite after a long drive from Algarve.

Home away from home

Just like the pictures on VRBO! very clean. washer and dryer was very nice, blinds made sleeping late possible. Shower was hot! and lovely- make sure the wand is turned away from glass or you may flood bathroom :). check in was easy and communicating with the host was easy. close to metro and Uber works greats to get you to down town. Bed was very comfortable. great stay. would recommend.

Modern accomadation- close to downtown transit

One flight up to a perfect, modern well lit apartment. It is approx. a 7 minute walk to the metro, which takes you to Old Town. We walked to Old Town in under a half and hour (downhill) The apartment is located in a lovely Portugese residential neighbourhood with shopping, convenience and grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. The parking garage is also a 5 minutes walk. Any questions we had were quickly responded to by Carlos. We had a wonderful 4 day visit and will stay again if we return to Lisbon.

Schöne Wohnung etwas abseits

Ich war mit einer Freundin für 4 Nächte dort. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, jedoch gibts 2-3 Kleinigkeiten die wir nicht so gut fanden. Zum einen gibts „ nur ein großes Bettlaken. Wir hätten es angenehmer gefunden, wenn es 2 separate Laken gewesen wären. Zum anderen ist das Bad komplett aus Milchglaswänden gezogen, so das man keine richtige Privatsphäre hat.Auch die Türe zum Schlafzimmer war aus Milchglas, was sehr hell im Schlafbereich war, wenn der andere noch im Wohnbereich war. Sonst ist die Wohnung gut ausgestattet. Zur Metro 5-10 min zu Fuß , von da 3-4 Stationen ist „ Zentrum“. Aber auch im Wohnort gibts Restaurants und Supermärkte.

Location

Excellent location, adjacent to coastal hiking paths/ boardwalk and walking distance to old town Lagos. Carlos met us on site and accessible if needed. Only negative is ongoing work in building (noise) but scheduled to end March 2024.

Wonderful apartment.

We stayed here for 3 weeks. Overall we were very happy with our stay. The unit was very clean and modern and had all the necessay amenities. Carlos was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. Its a 5-10 min walk to the subway and only 4-6 subway stops to most attractions. If you prefer Uber we never waited more than 5 min for a pickup. The neighbourhood has lots of great little restaurants and plenty of options to buy groceries if needed. Theres a great park nearby for going for a run or walk. We always felt safe. We should mention that like a lot of these older buildings, there is not a lot of sound proofing between floors. Out of 3 weeks there was 3 or 4 nights where noise went on late into the night above us. I used earplugs for sleeping so it didnt really bother me except for one night where a loud argument was going on. We texted Carlos and he immediately contacted those staying above us and the noise stopped. But we still gave a 5 star review because it wasnt Carlos' fault, he dealt with it quickly and could happen anywhere. Lastly, because it wasn't in the heart of Alfama or other tourist areas, food and restaurants were 1/2 the price which is a nice bonus. We would rent again
