HBO is included in the TV package, so feel free to flick around your favourite programs!
In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cook a delicious meal that you can serve to friends or family sitting around the dining table.
The master bedroom has a super comfortable king-size bed where the second bedroom features a cosy double bed with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in.
In the third bedroom, meanwhile, you’ll find two single beds, which is also fitted with superior-standard linens to ensure you enjoy a great night’s sleep.
In the mornings, when you want to freshen up, just head through to the well-appointed bathroom, where you can enjoy an energising shower. Towels and toiletries are provided.
The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
Guest Access:
You will have the whole place to yourself. We will provide you with the products needed for it, as well as basic supplies for shower. The whole place is available.
You may occasionally hear noise from neighbouring apartments, as most buildings in Lisbon aren’t soundproofed!
The Neighborhood:
Located in the north of the city, Benfica is a residential suburb that lends its name to the city’s most successful football club, S.L. Benfica. Close to the campuses of several educational establishments, including Lisbon University, Benfica is popular with students and has an atmosphere and nightlife to cater to a young crowd. To get away from the bustle of the city, take a short walk to the Parque Silva Porto, or a longer walk to Monsanto, where you can walk, run, sit or play in the sunshine and enjoy a sense of space. Although Benfica is not itself in the city centre, the proximity of the Metro stations at Colégio Militar and Alto dos Moinhos mean that you are well connected to downtown Lisbon. If you are a football fan, then take the opportunity to visit the S.L. Benfica stadium and either grab tickets for a match or visit the club museum. For a bite to eat, try Califa for their croquettes and cover them in mustard if you really want to eat like a local.
The apartment is found 240 m from the Lisbon Finance Department, 500 m from several banks (BPI, Caixa, Santander, Novo Banco, Millennium), 550 m from the Church of Nossa Senhora do Amparo de Benfica, 550 m from the Benfica Market, 1.2 km from Parque Grão Vasco, 1.8 km from Hospital da Luz and 1.8 km from Colombo shopping centre. There is free street parking outside the building.
There are a few restaurants as well that you might enjoy around: Café do Bairro, Restaurante Bitoque Real, Dom Petisco, Hamburguês, O Camões, Brasa das Gravatas, Leitões and Companhia, O Violino and Café Estrela.
Getting Around:
The flat gives access to everywhere (IC17, A8, IC 16, Second Circular). Buses: 767, 724, 765, 711, 746, 758 are all within a radius of 350 to 500 meters.
Other Things to Note:
-The flat capacity is for 6 people. No additional guests allowed.
-There is an elevator for access.
-Most homes in Portugal don’t have central heating, but heaters and fans will be provided.
-Electricity: It is fairly common in Lisbon for the electricity to trip if more than two high wattage electrical appliances are being used at the same time. Please keep this in mind when using appliances like heaters, washing machines, hairdryers, kettles, toasters, fans, etc. Guests will be charged €40 if the electricity trips due to overuse.
Check-in time is from 3 pm and check-out time is until 11:00 am. Please note that if you need a late check-in, it will require the payment of an extra fee as per the following:
- From 20:00 to 02:00h: €25
- After 02:00h: Confirm availability before booking
This fee will be collected before the check-in and must be paid by card or through the Airbnb Resolution Centre.
All guests will be required to present valid IDs before the check-in for registration to the Portuguese security authorities
- If guests lock themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a 50€ fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80€ fee will apply.
-Please note the water heater has limited capacity. Once the hot water runs out, it will take some time for the water to warm up.
-Please be eco-friendly and turn off all the lights and electrical appliances (such as heaters and fans) when you leave the apartment.
