Great little place!

Quiet building and cute little flat with all the essentials you need for your stay. Host was welcoming and responsive. Only issue was the tv that didn’t work, but not a big inconvenience as we were out most of the day. Highly recommend!

Nice appartment with a beautiful view

Gisela was very friendly and accomodating and helped us a lot during our stay. We felt very comfortable in the appartment and discovered Lisbon by foot from there. Perfect for a city trip!

Great little apartment in the city

I stayed here for a qewk wirh my 11 year old son. The location was perfect...easy to get around and on the same street as one of the city's best viewing points. I loved having the small private rooftop for moening coffee and an evening glass of wine. I made my son breakfast each day in the apt and everything we needed was there. A supermarket is within one minute walking distance. I would recommend and will stay again when back in portugal. Host was responsive and friendly.

Terrific rooftop Loft

The owner is very sweet and helpful. The apartment is at one of the highest points in Lisbon. Short walk up the street to a fantastic view point. The loft is very quaint and well appointed. If you are tall, it takes little time to get used to the ceilings. If you are not well conditioned or have leg issues, the stairs up to the fourth floor will be a challenge after walking the crazy streets of Lisbon. We are in our 60s and did not have a problem, although we do cycle and workout. Loved the airy coziness of the loft, which had great tilting windows to let the evening air cool us at night. AC works great, but we had great weather, so took advantage of the windows. Overall, loved our short stay here and would recommend this apartment to those that prefer adventure and fun over touristy hotels and crowded accomodations.

Amazing

This is an excellent property. Gisella had thought of everything you might need for your stay. Beautiful inside. Lovely outside space for relaxing. She was very helpful when we arrived. Just wished we could have stayed longer. Would stay again if in Lisbon. Would definately recommend.

Gisela var en superhost. Hun tok godt i mot oss, ga presis og god informasjon. Leiligheten har en fantastisk beliggenhet, og takterrassen er uvurderlig. Alt var rent og fint når vi kom. Vi vil ikkevurdere andre leiligheter i Lisboa, og kommer gjerne tilbake. Kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Great stay in Graca!

We really enjoyed our stay in this rooftop apartment in Lisbon. The apartment is located on one of the highest hills in Lisbon. The views on the rooftop were spectacular. Gisela and Rui are perfect hosts. Rui picked us up from the airport and immediately made us feel welcome. Once we arrived at the apartment, Gisela greeted us and explained everything about the apartment. The description of the apartment is accurate. It is very well appointed. Although small, the space was perfect for my husband and me for our 3 nights' stay. Thank you to Gisela and Rui!

Très bon accueil dans un petit appartement au top calme et vue époustouflante

Dès que l on arrive au quatrième étage et que l on ouvre la porte on sait que l on quittera cet endroit avec regret,un petit appartement dans lequel il ne manque rien et une vue de la terrasse très ensoleillée à couper le souffle et surtout dans un quartier pourtant animé pas un bruit merci à gisela pour tous ses renseignements grâce auxquels nous avons pu en 2 jours faire de belles découvertes.C'est certain nous reviendrons ici Josianne et Jackie

Charming apartment in local neighborhood

We really enjoyed the Sao Gens apartment. It's a great studio - compact and has enough room for two people. A fifth floor walk-up, you can see the river from the deck; we enjoyed popping out to see whether the morning fog had lifted. Everything was very clean, with a lovely modern design. The bed was especially comfortable. The true highlight was Gisela and Rui - they picked us up AND dropped us off at the airport and made us feel most welcome (the bottle of Sao Gens Apartments wine helped!). I had asked whether any Christmas markets might be open, and Gisela went out of her way to research and find one that had already started (most were starting after we left). Location wise, this is a quiet street. It's a bit of a walk to the high energy districts, and that walk through the charming neighborhoods is worth it ... be prepared for the steep hills. All in all, a definite recommend.

Herrliche Tage in Lissabon / Wonderful days in Lisbon

Wir verbrachten zu zweit 10 herrliche Tage hier. Die Wohnung ist in makellosem Zustand und genau so ausgestattet wie beschrieben. Gisela und Rui sind optimale Gastgeber. Sie stehen bei allen Fragen freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit zur Verfügung und man spürt genau, wie sehr sie ihre Heimat und ihr Viertel Graca lieben. Graca ist ein optimaler und sicherer Standort für alle Unternehmungen in und um Lissabon. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist hervorragend und die Lage ist trotzdem ruhig. Man kommt quasi jeden Abend nach Hause in den höher gelegenen und kühleren Stadtteil. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. Wir können die Wohnung für kurze und längere Aufenthalte bestens empfehlen. We had a very pleasant and wonderful 10days stay here. The Apartment is in top condition and equipped as described. Gisela und Rui are perfect hosts. They are friendly and help with any possible questions and requests immediately. You can clearly feel how much they love Lisboa and especially their quarter "Graca". Graca is a perfect and safe spot to stay for any activities around and in Lisboa. Its easy to access by public transportation and still a quiet place. You will be delighted to return "home" to one of the upper and less hot part of town in summer. Shops and restaurants of any kind are around. We can recommend this apartment for both, a short and a longer stay.

schöne moderne Unterkunft in guter Lage

Neu renoviertes Appartement, schöne Lage in der Nähe eines der vielen Aussichtspunkte von Lissabon, frühstücken auf dem Balkon mit Blick über die Dächer ist schön, erreichbar z.B. mit der Strassenbahn 28, freundliche Vermieter. Direkt unter dem Dach mit ein paar Dachschrägen auf die man achten sollte um sich den Kopf nicht zu stoßen. Supermärkte und Cafés in der Nähe. Hat uns gut gefallen.

Einfach perfekt! Just perfect!

Wir sind stolz, die ersten Gäste in diesem wundervollen Dachapartment gewesen zu sein. Es ist alles genau wie auf den Fotos. Von der Terasse hat man einen super Blick, sogar bis zum Tejo. Alles ist ganz neu und gut eingerichtet und auch sehr sauber. Die Lage ist perfekt, eine ruhige Seitengasse inmitten des schönen Graca-Viertels. Zu Fuss kommt man sehr gut in die Alfama und zu zwei super Ausichtspunkten (miradouro). Gleich um die Ecke gibt es alles was man braucht, Supermarkt, Bäckerei und Lokale. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich "superhosts". Sehr nett und bemüht. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Lissabon und würden sofort wieder kommen! We are proud to have been the first guests in this beautiful rooftop studio. The apartment is just perfect, like in the pictures. A beautiful view from the great terrace. Everything is new and clean and well equiped. The location is just perfect, in the middle of "graca", walking distance to alfama and two nice viewpoints (miradouro). Just around the corner are supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants. The hosts are definitly superhosts and live in the same building. Very nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable and had a great time in Lisbon and would for sure come back to this place! Thank you so much! Un apartamento perfecto! Todo esta exactamente igual como en las fotos. La terazza es muy bonita con vista hasta el Tejo. La casa se queda en una calle bien tranquila en medio del barrio "graca". Se puede caminar facilmente a la Alfama y a dos miradores bonitos. Alrededor hay supermercados, panaderias y restaurantes. El apartamento esta muy limpio y hay todo lo que se nescesita. Gisela y su marido son "superhosts" de verdad. Muy agradable y simpaticos. Muito obrigada! Fui tudo otimo!
