    The Space:
    Situated just 10 minutes on foot to the "beaches" side of Cascais, this beautifully decorated place has panoramic views of Estoril and Cascais. Everything within close walking distance, there is no need for a car rental. Living room and bedrooms are sea facing and enjoy the sunshine from morning until sunset. Rental includes broadband internet connection. This truly luxury property is ideal for those looking for something a little more special. Its location makes it great base for golfers or family reunions or celebrations, sailing, water sports or just a sun & beach holiday!

    Luxury white hotel linen to sink into after a hard day's sight seeing. Relax on the ample veranda overlooking the sea and wake up for breakfast overlooking Estoril. A car is definitely not needed in this centrally located apartment.

    Its great links to Lisbon, Belém, Sintra and Cascais make it ideal for anyone wanting to add a little cultural substance to their beach holiday. This apartment offers sea views, and a wonderful veranda to enjoy alfresco meals overlooking the sea.

    An easy walk to the casino in Estoril for a meal or a show. Close by you also have a small grocery shop as well as coffee shops serving small lunches and restaurants serving typical Portuguese meals. The apartment itself is modern and well equipped. It has free wi/fi internet access and cable television. Beds can be made up as 2 doubles and 2 singles, or 1 double and 4 singles.

    The Neighborhood:
    Coast / Beach
    The closes beaches are the local beaches of Cascais or Estoril which are both less than a 10 minute walk from the property. Other beaches on the Cascais/Estoril coast are within eash walking distance 10 to 15 minutes along the promenade. A few mins drive away is the magnificent, spectacular Guincho coastline, with sandy beaches and rocky coves. The alternative popular surfer beach of Carcavelos just 15 minutes drive away is very accessible also by train.
    There are a great many sandy beaches on the Lisbon Coast. You have the choice of 3 beaches in the centre of Cascais. Fisherman's beach, Praia da Rainha, or the longer stretch at Praia d Conceição and many more as you travel in the direction of Lisbon. They are all very easy to access by train which runs along the water's edge for most of the way between Lisbon and Cascais.
    These have superb beach restaurants dotted all along the way serving fresh fish, sardines, various seafood and the famous Portuguese steak roll (Prego no pão).
    Otherwise, visit (by bus or cycle there on the purpose built bicycle path) the Guincho Beach on spectacular un-spoilt coastline. It offers perfect conditions for surfing.
    Take a day trip to one of the Sintra beaches such as Praia Grande, Praia Maças and Praia da Adraga. Adraga Beach restaurant serves fish and seafood which tastes like they caught it just before serving it.

    Travel
    A car is not essential for this property. The train takes you into Lisbon (32 mins) via Estoril, in clean, modern air-conditioned trains - which are not expensive & always on time!
    Local buses include the Giro, a 17 minute/1 euro ride to the Cascais Shopping Mall; the Scotturb bus to Guincho beach for less than 3 euros, about 15 minutes, which also goes into the Quinta de Marinha for golf, spa, etc. The local Bus Cas is a frequent service on a smaller bus which serves the immediate vicinity of central Cascais. Terminal at the railway station.
    There is also a regular bus service to Guincho Beach, #405. The #403 will get you to Sintra.
    Hire a bicycle without charge on producing photo ID, and enjoy the purpose built cycle path which runs from Cascais to Guincho

    Our nearest airport is Lisbon Portela at 27 km (fewer than 30 mins).
    Or drive up from Faro it's just 2 and a quarter hours from Lisbon.
    From airport by public transport - bus transfer to Cais do Sodre station in Lisbon then on the train to Monte Estoril. We are able to offer an airport transfer. Please send an email and we will be happy to assist you.

    We can provide plenty of advice and information on local restaurants, shops, leisure activities and places of interest. Your apartment will have a manual which will give you tips for eating locally and things to do.

    Gastronomy
    Cascais Marina or the Cascais Market is great for good food and atmosphere. Sit among the boats and enjoy the sunset from the top deck. Also try the restaurants along the Guincho Road. Ones that stand out are Furnas do Guincho and Monte Mar (be prepared to pay a small price premium for great service and fantastic views and atmosphere). Casa da Guia which is just about 15 minutes walk from the marina offers a variety of restaurants, cafés and boutique shopping.
    Cascais town centre & its surrounds is a short distance from here and offers a good selection of restaurants (Portuguese, Indian, Chinese, Thai, French, Brazilian, Italian, South African and more. Local bakeries (Pastelarias) are a big plus for breakfast - always just a short walk away. Get around easily without a car.

Mount Estoril stay

The location is ideal. Few but very good restaurants around. People at the property were very nice and helpful. The apartment was perfect for us.

Million dollar view

My family of 3 stayed here for seven nights for a destination wedding. The place was clean and just as described. The views were absolutely amazing! Management was very responsive and helpful throughout the trip. My only suggestion would be to stock enough supplies for the length of the stay, such as toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. Aside from that, the place was perfect and I highly recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful agency

The apartment has an extrodinary view of the oceanside, is located within an easy 10 minute walk to the town center of Estoril, the trian station and the beach. It has an evelvator and air conditioning!. The agency managing the apartment was supurb . Answered texts or calls within 5 minutes, even when I locked myself out. Were always helpful and courteous. The apartment has some issues and needs to be updated. Also would recommend no more that 2 adults and one child as the apartment is quite small. There were 4 of us and it was difficult to move around. And as another reviewer stated the large bed matress was hard as rocks. but we fixed that by moving one of the matresses from the other room to put on top.

I was happy with everything but VRBO a message was sent that I was not booked as long as I was and made me very upset and I was afraid of not being able to stay the host was wonderful and helped me with this when VRBO was not helpful at all that made my last days very upsetting

Beautiful Views and Great Location

The apartment is small and quirky, but it has beautiful views and is in a great neighborhood. Cassie, the property manager, is excellent to work with. We rented a car, and the drive to Cascais is only a few minutes, Lisbon is just 25 minutes away, and Sintra is only 10 minutes away. The drawbacks of this place is that for non-smokers, the smoke smell is terrible. I guess we had overlooked that smoking is allowed in this apartment. Also, the mattress in the main bedroom is very hard, which made sleeping uncomfortable for my husband who has back pain. Overall, though, it worked well for our week in Portugal.
