Beautiful design, beautiful location
Just an amazing week that was ever-so-slightly let down by some of the facilities. ie the the outdoor furniture as pictured no longer exists, so (when we arrived) there were zero options for shade outdoors. The manager ran into town and picked up a parasol for us, but for a group of nine, this essentially left the outdoor space unusable during the hottest hours of the day, which was a real shame. The pool filtration system was a little iffy when we arrived, but again the manager responded quickly and fixed it. Unfortunately it seemed to be slowing down again by our last day. Honestly, the opposite area needs a little TLC. Everything indoors was very well cleaned and presented, and the location is stunning. It is an easy jaunt into local towns for supplies and entertainment, including the town of Cascais, and the National Park and Palace at Sintra. If there is just a little investment in recreating the outdoor space as shown, and ensuring the pool mechanics are in tip-top condition, I would be back every year.
