Es un lugar muy cómodo, muy bonito, tiene vista muy linda, el barrio muy bonito. Me encantó, estuve muy agusto, solo hay problema para personas con dificultades para caminar, hay que subir escalones y no es fácil acceder al lugar en coche

We loved our little apartment within the castle walls! Wonderful communication and assistance from the hosts, very clean and well-supplied, and very comfortable. The location requires an uphill walk from the historic center, but a frequent bus is also available. We enjoyed escaping to the charming, small streets of the castle in the evenings and were surprised at how quiet it was. Highly recommend!

Our room offered an excellent mix of quite, views, culture. We loved the lemon tree outside of the window and waking to the sound of peacocks in the castle. Our host has done a great job decorating and making sure you have everything you could need.

We hebben een zeer fijne periode doorgebracht in Lissabon mede door ons verblijf in dit appartement. Centraal gelegen, zeer goed contsct vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf met het management. De mogelijkheid om vooraf en achteraf onze bagage in bewaring te stellen was ideaal.

My husband and I spent a week at the Castle Inn Lisbon and cannot say enough good things about it. The hospitality of the staff, the accommodations, and the location added up to an incredible experience. Highly recommend! We can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Castle Inn. We had the Fado room and it couldn’t have been more perfectly maintained - super clean, everything in like new condition. It was very quiet, comfortable beds, great communication with the property contact. As it’s steps from the castle, it is at the top of a hill, but was still easy to get around to all the sites.

Amazing stay, highly recommend!

Great location in the Alfama neighbourhood and great communication from hosts!! Take a cab from the airport to Castle Inn Lisbon as Ubers are not allowed up the street. Self check in/hotel is a bit hidden but you can't be the location. Would not be good if you have accessibility needs - no elevator and steep staircase. Would definitely stay again!

It was really clean and in a really nice area. My only issue with it is that Ubers and Bolts will not drop you off directly in front of it. We took a cab from the airport and it couldn’t access the area and we had to walk uphill with our luggage. You also have to carry your luggage upstairs. Fine for young people but if you are elderly or have trouble with walking maybe don’t stay on the 2nd floor and don’t bring a lot of heavy luggage. Otherwise this place is clean and perfect and the staff were helpful.

Clean but very small

Should have done more investigating before taking this one, it was a long walk from the town and also very small. Getting in and out of the bathroom was a challenge and the shower leaked on to the floor. Very dark and narrow hallway to get up to your room. Difficult for taxis to come to the door as it is closed off. The cobblestones make it impossible to roll your suitcases up to the door, you must carry them. It was however very clean and quiet.

I could not be happier with this charming apartment in the picturesque part of Lisbon known as Castelo de São Jorge. Customer service, especially, was beyond expectation. The apt is located very close (50 meters) from the Castelo de São Joege, Portugal's oldest castle named after the country's patron saint, and a major tourist spot in Lisbon. The neighborhood is very quiet at night and very safe, the kind of place you enjoy coming "home" to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing, etc. The apartment "Descobrimentos" was very nicely decorated and had a very comfortable queen size bed. The windows were all new dual action. Very nice! The living room had pull-out twin beds for additional guests, making it ideal for a couple with two small kids, for example. The kitchen had a microwave, a small fridge and all the kitchenware you would need to cook, although with all the great restaurants nearby (including Geurreiros in the same building), who would want to? The bathroom was clean and modern and offered plenty of hot water. There were plenty of towels and even a towel-warming rack! All floors are modern wood laminates, no carpeting. The apt had two A/C splits, which I did not need because of the absolute perfect weather the first few days of June. In fact, I slept with the windows open and enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood at night. Tourist activity around the Castle during the day is robust, but at night it is dead quiet and very relaxing.

First thing to know about this property is that it is VERY HARD to find! Uber driver left me off nowhere near the door as cars CANNOT drive up to it. It is VERY hidden away and there is NO check-in person or reception area. You need to check your email in advance to get a code to open the front door. You basically check yourself in. Having said that, the littlw apartment was adorable with everything you might need. Coffee maker, kettle, iron and the very best shower in Portugal! The owner continually stayed in contact with me. Asked for some ice (which is not easy to get in Portugal) and he had his neighbour deliver some to my door. He also organized a taxi to pick me up to take me to the airport which I was VERY appreciative of as like I said its VERY hard to find. Owner also asked me to leave 4e for some tax that they could not collect from expedia which I found very strange. I did leave it as they were so accomadating. Beautiful area and almost everywhere is walkable. I would go back.

Apartamento turístico muy cercaApartamentos turísticos en buena ubicación (muy cerca del Castillo San Jorge y Alfama). Instalaciones muy limpias, funcionales, diseño minimalista y moderno. La habitación Azulejos contaba con un dormitorio con dos camas individuales y un salón con otras dos camas a desplegar (ideal para cuatro personas si toleran convivencia sin problemas). Baño con ducha y pequeña cocina. Durante la estancia no hay servicio de habitación. La atención por Eliana fue muy buena y hablando en español. Muy buena opción para alojarse unos días y visitar Lisboa.

Perfect for our family of 4

Castle Inn Lisbon is in a great location. Of course it is by the castle so not right in the center of everything, however it is very walkable. Can easily get a Uber from outside the gate of the castle (less then 2 min walk from apartment). Taxis can come right to the front of the apartment so we did that the day we got there and left since we had luggage. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast place about a 4 min walk is great. From there we walked all over Lisbon. The owners are great. Messaged to ask if we needed anything, gave us advice on restaurants, and always responded to messages we sent them right away.
