Great location

This apt is in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants. Walkable to historic sites. 5 levels of stairs but makes it worth the nice view from the patio. Property manage very responsive to questions.

Lisbon vacation

This property is in a great location and we enjoyed the rooftop patio each night. 5 flights of stairs make for a challenging climb but was worth the effort. Tall travelers beware of low ceilings and door thresholds.

Perfect location downtown

The location is absolutely perfect to explore Lisbon and the surrounding areas. Offsite parking in a safe public underground garage is only a short walk away and included in the price. The apartment was well cleaned and stocked with all basics on arrival. The interior is an open floor plan. Having 2 mini-split ac units available is tremendous for a good night's sleep in this top floor spot. You can enjoy breakfast or hang out at night to watch city lights/life on the streets on the small rooftop terrace. => Would rent again without any hesitation.

Adorable apartment

Very cute apartment. Right in the center of everything. Could be a little loud at night. Ceilings were very short, so if you are tall this is not the place for you.

Great location!

Overall, a nice place to stay. Very central location. As others mentioned, expect many stairs and short ceilings. Fortunately, our family is in decent shape and relatively short. The only downsides, though minor, were uneven shower water temps and a tiny ironing board.

Tolle gelegen Unterkunft für Lissabon

Geniale Lage! Da im fünften Stock gelegen, etwas mühsamer Koffertransport, leider nicht mal ein Wasserflasche im Kühlschrank, dies hätte man in einem warmen Land doch als Basic erwartet! Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für zwei, man darf nur nicht über 1,80 m groß sein. Super ist der Balkonaustritt aus beiden Fenstern, hier kann man prima morgens und abends sitzen und essen. Die Unterkunft ist in einem älteren Haus gelegen, und bedarf an vielen Stellen eines Anstrich/Renovierung, es sollte auch etwas mehr Küchenmobiliar da sein, es war leider weder ein Flaschenöffner noch ein Korkenzieher vorhanden. Die Möbel sind teilweise abgewohnt, die Lampen waren streckenweise kaputt und hatten strahlend-weiß hässliche LED Strahler. An den Dachfenstern gab es einige Stellen, an denen es im Winter wohl reingeregnet hatte. Insgesamt bedürfte das Apartment einer gründlichen Sanierung. Trotzdem war wegen der Lage unser neuntägige Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment sehr gelungen!

Großartige Lage mitten in Lissabon

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Die Wohnung bietet ausreichend Platz und war mit allen notwendigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt geeignet, um Lissabon zu erkunden. Anreise mit dem PKW war unproblematisch, da ein Tiefgaragenplatz bereitgestellt wurde.

Quick stay in Lisboa

The partner is in a great location centrally located for walking to many of Lisboa’s best spots. Access was super easy and markets were close by as was convenient parking. We loved the space and the homey feel while traveling.

Water leaks and crumbling walls

Unhealthy conditions! Water pooling on the floor when we arrived and walk and ceiling had deteriorated and crumbled onto the floor. This property should not be listed. The host ignored our messages so we left and booked a hotel. We spent hours in chat and phone with Vrbo and still trying to get a refund. We strongly recommend to not stay here.

Great location and balcony

Location is right on the main pedestrian street. The street can be somewhat noisy, but it goes quiet at 2300. I'm 186 cm, and I could walk upright though I brushed my hair against the ceiling. Note that the doorframes are a lot lower, so I had to bend down to not bang my head when moving from room to room. In the shower I could only stand in the narrow space in between the support beams. We didn't notice that smell from the bathroom as others have complained about. Perhaps it's a seasonal thing. The balcony is facing west, so it'll have the afternoon sun.

Great location & stay for 2 adults

Overall, this property was great for a short stay and a few adults who don't mind climbing some stairs to get to the apartment. Located on a bustling street with tons of vendors, restaurants, cafes and great views. Apartment was accurate per the listing and we had no issues during the stay. Would recommend and I'd stay there again myself.

Nice little apartment

The apartment was nice. Ceilings are very low and it’s a big climb to reach it, but this was made clear before we rented. Bathroom was excellent and very clean. The stairs up to the second bedroom are very difficult to navigate, but the beds we’re comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and clean but there was a small issue wt ants on the counter. You are right in the heart of the tourist section so everything is walkable. But it is quite loud till 11pm so not a peaceful location. Overall it we enjoyed our stay.

Not bad

It was just as advertised. The stairs are wicked but it's ok if you're only doing one trip a day. There was a smell occasionally from the bathroom but not tragic. No response from host for most of the the stay. We never got the parking spot but managed to avoid a ticket.

Family trip to Lisbon

Excellent location on the main road of the city. Walking up and down 5 flights of stairs a few times a day was a bit of a chore. Nice little oasis right in the middle of the city.

Toplage mit kleinen Abzügen

Herrlicher Blick über Lissabon- Fitnesstraining in den fünften Stock 😉 Wir haben es sehr genossen, tagsüber eine kleine Pause auf dem schönen Balkon einzulegen und dem Treiben auf der Einkaufsmeile zu lauschen. Die Anreisebeschreibung war nicht aktuell, denn man konnte aufgrund von Bauarbeiten nicht in der empfohlenen Straße parken. Besser wäre es gewesen, direkt zum Parkhaus zu fahren und von da das Gepäck zu transportieren. Leider roch es aus dem Bad bis in den Flur sehr unangenehm aus den Abflüssen- vielleicht wegen der Hitze in Lissabon (wir hatten 32 Grad). Außer der Empfehlung das Wasser laufen zu lassen, wurde dem Problem seitens der Vermieter keine Beachtung geschenkt. Die Küche ist nicht gut ausgestattet, sodass wir dort nicht gekocht haben. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt würden wir es aber wieder buchen, allerdings ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis grenzwertig. .

Adorable "cottage" in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Lisbon.

We had a great 3 night stay. My granddaughter loved the loft!. I enjoyed espresso on the balcony. My youngest son was taller than the door frames so he had to do a lot of "ducking". But the place felt very safe and was comfortable. Had a bit of an issue figuring out where to park (which was to be included in the rent). I think I may have ended up with a large parking fee for the one night we used the parking. We were instructed by the booking agent to use a parking card that was left for us in the rental property (which had a March date on it). Would appreciate this charge getting resolved. Other than that everything was great!

Septic smell throughout the unit

The lady who we talked to on the phone was very nice. When we got there it was on the sixth floor which in Europe is the fifth floor because the first floor is zero. It’s a long way up if you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage. if you are any taller than 5 foot 11 don’t even bother because you will hit your head every time you walk through the unit. Right when we saw the unit we wanted to get out of there. It is ancient. There are many four-star hotels nearb that are modern, clean and have no septic smell, and cost less than this unit, but only accommodate two people . Since we were only two people, we thought we’d try a VRBO. They were nice enough to refund us two days of our five days but we did not stay there even one night. My original arrangement was to stay there for two nights, and they would refund us for two nights of 5 nights booked.. The very first night we went to sleep we smelt septic. As I later found out, this is a massive problem with many older buildings throughout Lisbon. They would not refund me any more money as my cancellation notice was short, which I understand. If you like the smell of septic and the taste of septic in your mouth after being in there a while this is the place for you.
