What a beautiful apartment! Very comfortable (except for 5 flights of stairs but that’s the beautiful building it’s in!), located away from most of tourist hub-bub. We had a front row seat to an impressive military parade at the Sao Bento Palace right across the street honoring a South Korean visitor. And many other cultural and fun sights. Thank you to Joana and Elsa for a memorable stay.

The apartment inside was great and super clean. It had everything we needed. The communication with the hostes was also great. It is in a good location, however the street is not as quiet as expected. During the day is better than at night and this is because of several bars around and constant throwing of glasses in the recycle bean. It’s loud even in the middle of the night. Another thing to pay attention to are the number of floors you will need to carry the luggage to. There is no elevators.The apartment is really on the 4th floor and the steps, for being an older building, are very uneven. It’s hard to go up when you walked the whole day long on the ups and downs of Lisbon streets.

First, the house manager patiently waited in is as we got atuck.at the airport due to the airline losing our luggage. She was incredibly patient and kind!!! The flat was perfect for our group, the location is excellent to explore Lisbon and we took a day trip to Sintra. Highly reccomend this house!

The check-in process was smooth—someone greeted us at the property and gave us a tour of the apartment. Although the property is older, all the upgrades were thoughtfully and well executed. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances and amenities.

This is a very lovely apartment at the top of the respective building. It is accessed via a long staircase which was not an issue for our group of five adults. Nearby are a number of coffeeshops for breakfast, a grocery, a great wine bar across the street, and an incredible number of small restaurants. Very close to the 28 tram and other bus connections. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very nice location across from Parliament

Apart from a misunderstanding about the AC and extra charge for the third bedroom, everything was very good. We kept a cross draft going but early garbage pickup made for an early wake-up.The location was outstanding and safe.The stair workout became a ritual towards the end of our stay. It prepared us for the rest of Lisbon.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The apartment was stunning. So many details and attention to decor. The beds were comfortable and it was very spacious. I loved the liveliness off the neighborhood and the sounds of Lisbon below.Be prepared to climb many steps.All in all a wonderful experience. I want to go back!

Beautiful apartment/ Centrally located

This is really a beautiful apartment. It is a pleasure to stay in and felt like an authentic part of the city. Our check in process was smooth and communication was exceptional. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook meals and the rooms were just as described. The information book in the house answered most of our questions, but the hosts were also very kind in responding with dining recommendations, etc. On a side note, it is a bit of a hike to the apartment- totally worth it, but if you have trouble with 4 flights of stairs, it may be difficult for you. We really enjoyed our stay and only wished we could have stayed longer!

The perfect apartment in a wonderful location!

We can not recommend this apartment highly enough! It is absolutely stunning -- so thoughtfully designed -- well equipped, comfortable, and in an ideal location - close to all attractions but off the touristy path. Our hosts were communicative and gracious and we can not wait to return! We noticed others complaining about the 5 story walk-up but we found that to be nothing compared with walking around the hillls of Lisbon -- which we loved -- par for the course and worth the walk up for sure! An ideal spot to stay!

Beautiful apartment in a great location

This is an absolutely gorgeous apartment in a cool neighborhood away from the busier tourist areas. Nice restaurants nearby as well as a convenient grocery store. Beautiful light throughout and very tastefully appointed. We traveled with our daughter and her boyfriend and the upstairs efficiency worked very well for us. It is a hike up the stairs to the apartment, especially with luggage. Owners met us for check in and were responsive to any questions we had. A nice way to experience Lisbon instead of a hotel. Fully outfitted kitchen.

Outstanding!!!!

What a beautiful apartment! Well appointed and charming. Close to everything in Lisbon. 100% convenient. Our host (Ana in our case) checked us in and was wonderful in giving us the lay of the land. One warning, be prepared for a sizeable hike up multiple flights of stairs to get to this apartment - but once you’re there it will be all worth it!

Beautiful apartment in great location.

This may be one of the most beautiful city apartments we have ever stayed in. The furnishings are lovely and the apartment was large enough for 4 of us. The kitchen was well stocked and they graciously provided coffee and laundry detergent for our stay. We took the additional upstairs room as well which was a nice addition so our kids didn't have to share a room. The location is perfect- walking distance to tons of great restaurants and places to visit. We had a great stay here and highly recommend it! Two notes: 1. the main apartment does not have a TV if you care about that 2. the apartment is really on the 5th floor - a walkup, no elevator. It's definitely a demanding climb with suitcases!

Excellent stay

This is a great property and we had an amazing stay. Location is perfect, hosts and responsive and helpful, and the flat is very spacious (we were 5 adults and very comfortable). As other reviews note, only 1 of the three bedrooms currently has AC, so it can be hot sleeping on summer nights.

Best VRBO ever!

We loved this place! VRBO owners are so helpful and accommodating! Good location, plenty of restaurants nearby. Loved sitting on the deck and watch life go by Rua San Bento below.
