Apartment located on the second floor of a recently restored building without an elevator, in the famous Bairro Alto of Lisbon. Bairro Alto is one of the city's main tourist destinations, presenting two distinct facets: during the day, it is a tranquil and picturesque neighborhood, with inviting outdoor cafés and alternative shops; at night, visitors socialize in the streets, exploring different bars and clubs, filling the area with music and animation.

Due to the bohemian lifestyle that characterizes Bairro Alto, some exterior noise is to be expected. Please note that the building is located opposite a bar.

Car access is limited, with only taxis permitted.

The nearest street with car access is Rua da Rosa, about 140 meters from the apartment.

- Living Room

A welcoming living room with a sofa and TV awaits you. Through the French windows, which open onto a typical Lisbon balcony, sunlight floods the space, bringing warmth and comfort. The open-plan layout with the kitchenette creates an ideal social area. Additionally equipped with air conditioning, it allows for a comfortable temperature throughout the year.

- Kitchenette

Fully equipped with an oven, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, and espresso machine (coffee not included), as well as a washing machine and dishwasher. It is complemented by a dining table for 4 people.

- Bedrooms

The apartment has two bedrooms, both equipped with air conditioning. One suite with a double bed and wardrobe, and one bedroom with two single beds.

- Sitting Area
A small and cozy sitting room, equipped with a sofa bed, air conditioning, and some books, is perfect for relaxing (it can be used as an additional bedroom).

- Bathrooms

It has two bathrooms. One with a shower, en suite, and another with a small bathtub.

For your comfort and flexibility, our Hospitality Team will provide a self-check-in at the property. A code will be informed to open the lockbox and collect the keys. To avoid any delays, please inform us your flight number and the estimated time of arrival at the apartment with at least 48 hours in advance. The information we’re requesting is very important for us to coordinate our team and to provide you the best welcoming experience. Without that information we cannot guarantee you a prompt check-in, so your cooperation is very important.

Bairro Alto, translating to "Upper District," is one of Lisbon's most vibrant and iconic neighborhoods. Situated on a hill overlooking the city center, it's renowned for its lively atmosphere, eclectic nightlife, and bohemian charm. Originally developed in the 16th century, Bairro Alto has evolved into a cultural hub, attracting artists, musicians, and young locals and tourists alike.

During the day, Bairro Alto exudes a laid-back vibe, with its narrow cobblestone streets lined with colorful buildings hosting traditional shops, cozy cafes, and trendy boutiques. Visitors can explore its winding alleys, soak in panoramic views from viewpoints like Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, or delve into Lisbon's history at landmarks like the Church of São Roque.

However, it's after dark that Bairro Alto truly comes alive. Located in the heart of Bairro Alto, it has easy access to various public transportation options in Lisbon, including:

1. **Buses:** There are several bus stops near Rua da Atalaia, providing connections to different parts of the city.

2. **Trams:** Although Rua da Atalaia is not directly on the route of tram 28, it's possible to catch the tram at nearby stops to explore other areas of Lisbon.

3. **Metro:** Baixa-Chiado metro station is easily accessible from Rua da Atalaia. Additionally, Rossio metro station is also relatively close by, offering another option for traveling around the city.

4. **Rossio Train Station:** Rossio train station is located a short distance from Rua da Atalaia, providing train connections to various regions within and outside of Lisbon.

5. **Taxis and Uber:** Taxis and transportation services like Uber are widely available in the area, offering a convenient option for getting around the city, especially at night or for longer distances.

Please note that Rua da Atalaia has limited access to cars, with only taxis permitted entry.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.

￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.

￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.

￫ Check-in time starts at 16:00 and check-out must be done until 11:00(am). Only one set of keys is provided. Before leaving, please place the keys inside the lockbox.

￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.

￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.

￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly bill consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.

￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
