Great location but needs more attention to detail.

Our family of six adults stayed in this apartment for 8 days. Positives: great location, beautiful property, gorgeous views, good size, very quiet.Negatives: management provides minimal toilet paper, no coffee (though there was a new coffeemaker and coffee pods not meant for this coffeemaker), too many things did not work: bedside lamp, television, stereo unit, upper hallway light would not turn off, only three bedrooms have an ac/heat unit—the fourth bedroom has a space heater, which did not work and was plugged into an outlet that came out of the walls—a hazard. Luckily, we found a second space heater in a downstairs closet. The main bedroom downstairs has no storage, just a closet in the hallway. Regarding the toilet paper and coffee, management said this “self-catering’ unit does not offer these on demand.Be aware: This is a two-floor apartment and the stairs to the second floor are winding, steep, and very narrow—tough for little ones and elders.

Frustrating Three Nights

Nowhere in their original listing did it mention that you could not flush toilet paper in the toilets. It needs to be put in a garbage can. A sign is posted in one bathroom, but after many attempts over three days to reach the management company we were told it is actually for all three toilets. Luckily, that is what I figured and what we had been doing. Originally this listing showed a 4:00 check-in, but the day before we were told 5:00. Upon arrival the apartment had not been cleaned.It was disgusting. There were dirty rumbled sheets, garbage cans full, sticky countertops, crumbs on the tables. Cleaners arrived at 6:00 and left at 7:30, so we sat for two and a half hours out of fear of leaving our belongings. This was a huge waste of our first few hours there. When I asked about compensation I was ignored. Nothing was refunded. This is a third party management company, not a private VRBO host, so they didn't really care to make anything right, get back to me, or compensate us for the bad experience. Since the representative was trying to get cleaners there, he did not walk us through the apartment or explain a single thing to. I messaged him for three days about how to get the hallway light off. Only three of the four bedrooms had AC, so we thought we could sleep with the doors open to get the air moving for the couple in the room with no AC. We couldn't do that because of the light. Told it was a remote but the battery in it was dead. Again, no one came to fix that problem

Beautiful and spacious apartment, great location

Four friends and I stayed here, and we were all so happy with the apartment. The living area and kitchen are spacious, welcoming, and well decorated. The bedrooms were nice as well. With three sizeable bedrooms and one on the smaller side. Very clean. The neighborhood was fantastic. There were excellent restaurants and bars just down the street, a bodega right next door, and a viewpoint overlooking the city just across the street. We’d all love to stay here again! *Note, bring earplugs if you’re not accustomed to city noise (as you’re in the middle of a bustling city and lively neighborhood).

Good location but unit is not for all

Our family of 8 adults visited in May for 3 nights. There was plenty of room for us to enjoy our time. The location was great with many cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The online info was accurate. Be prepared to walk steep streets if you plan to visit other areas by foot. While the description identifies stairs up to the unit it doesn't mention 2 long steep staircases. These were challenging with luggage. This along with the extremely narrow stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms would not make this unit suitable for everyone. Communication with the host during our stay was non existant. I used the contact information provided. I tried phone, text, email and whats app. I only received a response after we left apologizing for the delay. Check in went very poorly. We were left waiting for over an hour in the square across the street for the host to arrive. Again communication on our check in day was extremely poor with no response to my numerous reach outs due to flight delay.

Perfect Location, Perfect Place

The place was perfect. We were four adults, so we tossed coins for who would get the small "children's" bedroom and it all worked out well. The apartment is wonderful and in a perfect location at the top of Lisbon, across from a church that you can tour, next door to a little market with very friendly proprietors, and very near wonderful restaurants, ATM, grocery stores. I would definitely stay here again. And the team were wonderful.

Loving Lisbon

I stayed in this apartment with 2 friends. It was perfectly located for our first visit to Lisbon. Near a Tram 28 stop, near the castle which we could see from the very large living room windows. Very quiet and comfortable bedrooms. Eat-in kitchen with lots of character. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. We had breakfast at Restaurant 28 - the 2 toast breakfast was amazing - Altar and Graca 77 - all very close to the apartment and would recommend all. Thank you for a very memorable and comfortable stay in Lisbon.

Great space, wonderful location

This was our first visit to Lisbon and this apartment was definitely a big plus. The location is absolutely wonderful. We were within a short walk of everything. We came by train and left by plane, and one thing I wish we had known in advance was that just across the street there was a plaza with really good restaurants amazing views of the city and stores just meters away. We got in four hours before our check in time and we could have just hung out there while waiting. We took a taxi to Sao Vicente de Fora, which was beautiful but a hill. The apartment itself is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The views from the rooms are beautiful and it is airy and comfortable. A great space for our family to come together after a day of exploring Lisboa. The management company was very responsive and nice. We were a bit surprised about how the payment process worked, but after talking to VRBO we were able to figure it out. In short, the final payment is made directly to the management company, but the payment shows up in the VRBO account once made. It appears that this is normal in Portugal. When we were leaving it was so easy to get a taxi to the airport. Our son used the app to get a taxi for 5 am and it showed up right on time. We walked the approximately 25 meters to the taxi station, on one of the few flat areas of Lisboa. The ride to the airport was less than 20 minutes. Overall a great experience and I would definitely reserve with TravelingToLisbon again.

Appartement conforme à la description et très bien placé dans le centre de Lisbonne. A signaler, une des 4 chambres et sans clim et sous les toits donc non utilisable à cause de la chaleur. Le sommier à lattes du lit était d'ailleurs cassé...

Superbe appartement

Great stay in Lisboa

We had an great adult family stay with our kids, at this unit 68 in the Graca neighborhood. Located on 3rd/4th floor, some steep steps, very nice with Modern updates. Accessible to sidewalk cafes/bars/shops/fado/.St Jorges Castle Within a few hundred yards, the city center close by, we used both Uber , Bolt and walked 0.5 miles down/up to the city center. Plenty of room for 7 of us, fantastic time, great weather 55F-65F in march, 15-mins Uber to airport, we did not cook but this unit has a nice family area and kitchen that could be used, openable windows, AC, views of castle from upper floors, overlooking convent courtyard, would love to visit again
