The property is located in Alfama, a truly unique and historic neighbourhood of Lisbon. We loved being able experience this area, while being able to walk approximately 20mins to the downtown area. The owner was excellent in communicating with us upon arrival and giving us tips about the city. Be mindful that the apartment is directly in front of the tram line/station. Expect to hear it during day and even through later in the night, which may be loud for some. The apartment was cute and good for two people and we liked having a little balcony that looked out onto the street. Overall, it was clean, however I would advise for next time that the door handle of the bathroom be tended to as it was hard to open from the inside. Overall, it was a good stay for our first time in Lisbon and we enjoyed the location.

Awesome stay! We really enjoyed the apartment. Joao was so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and in a great location. Will be recommending this place to friends who visit Lisbon.

We thought the apartment was ok. It would have been nice if we got some more hand soap and toilet paper. Very cheap with the supplies. Also the internet was terrible. We didn't like having a pile of garbage outside our front door.

Lucky find!
This was a lovely modern apartment,newly renovated with taste and pride. It is in the Alfama district of Lisboa on the 28 tram line, an old neighborhood, but well lit, safe and dripping with Old Town ambiance. I would stay there again in a minute.

This is a perfectly positioned property in a lovely part of the city. It wouldn’t do for anyone who couldn’t manage hills or stairs but otherwise can’t think of anything wrong with it. Ideal for two people.

The property was wonderful. It wasn't too big or too small. It had excellent natural light. It was close to where I wanted to be, and needed to go. My one complaint is the the wi-fi was very spotty and there was no reception in many parts of the apartment.

Cute apartment, perfect location
This place is awesome. It’s in the perfect location to see everything and was so clean and comfortable. Can’t beat this place for the price. The check in pfocsss was easy and quick and everyone we dealt with was super friendly. We did not want to leave this cute little apartment and will sty there again if we’re ever back in Lisbon!

Apartment within walking distance of attractions. Room very clean and lots of room. Kitchen facilities. Very good bed. Good communication with manager. Washroom a bit small but adequate. Tight spiraling staircase might be a consideration for someone with mobility issues. Good air conditioning since it was 38+ degrees C the days we were there. Great view of city/water front. Trolley stop right on door step. Options for breakfast next door.

New and comfortable one bedroom in Alfama
The Almamater apartment was nice and new, and made for a comfortable stay in Lisbon's Alfama district for two people. The apartment had everything you'd expect for your stay (and more), such as A/C, washing machine, big couch etc. It's in a convenient spot to jump on a tram, as the tram line goes right past the house and stops out front. However, this tram is quite noisy, and being on the ground floor meant you could hear and feel the trams every time they went past. They go into the night and start early in the mooning.

Amazing
Amazing! We had a great stay at the apartment. Small, but very comfortable and at the center of Alfama. Lots of interesting things to see and do and really good food around. Neighbors around (local business) also very friendly and helpful. I would book the apartment again without doubt.

Great apartment in a really good location. Spacious, bright, modern and with everything you need inside. Nice View from the windows. The only downside is, the tram from the street is making quite a lot noise in the apartment. On the plus side, tram 28 is going straight to the apartment.

Appartement (Tagides) très agréable, lumineux, au pied de l'arrêt de Tram 28E (qui génère un peu de bruit, mais supportable) -Situé dans le quartier entre l'Alfama et Graça Très bien équipé (Machine à café, bouilloire, Four Micro Onde, Clim - Beaux volumes. O que mais gostei foi do conforto. Estabelecimento reformado, mobilia nova e cozinha super equipada. A maquina de lavar roupas foi de grande ajuda. Um pouco barulhento porque o eletrico para na porta.

Recomendo a estadia no apartamento Ophiussa.
O apartamento é um compacto de alta qualidade no material de construção e nos utensílios utilizados. Fomos muito bem recepcionados no check in. Foi tudo ótimo: banho ótimo, cozinha equipada, ótima cama, vedação acústica, wi-fi. Boa localização, perto da estação Santa Apolónia. Apenas sentimos falta de termos mais uma chave do apartamento, pois estávamos em 3 adultos que nem sempre andavam juntos.
