"The property is typically Sicilian so if you’re expecting contemporary and luxury this is not for you, if you want to feel like you’re in Sicily and experiencing their culture this is fabulous. Beautiful grounds, lots of lovely areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. You do need a car aa there is nowhere to walk to from the villa. We didn’t hire a car - as an all girl party and Sonia and her sister were simply amazing, arranging transfers from the airport, trip into Taromino, boat trip and more -...

"We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

"The house was perfect! We rented both the lower level and upper level apartments. Both were immaculately clean and very spacious. We enjoyed dinner and drinks on the fantastic terrace with the best view on the Taormina gulf. It was also a perfect location, near the center of town, the steps to the beach and transportation. "A spacious and well appointed apartment within the Villa. The views from the terrace are spectacular and overlook the Giardini Naxos bay all the way to the Cape of Taormina. From the terrace of the main bedroom there is also a wonderful view of Mt Etna in all her glory. "There were many issues, some were fixed within the first week, some were not fixed until we left (distroyed BBQ). Sometimes we had to tell the owner twice to fix something (broken bed). Rattling fan in the kitchen (noosy), A/C was working in all rooms. The rooms were big. Ant poison was on the terrace when we arrived (unsafe for small children).
