Do not stay here! There is no ocean view as promised because the brush is so overgrown. The unit wreaked like cat pee to the point where we couldn’t sleep because it was so overwhelming. I demanded they remove the pee soaked rug in the living room. The fridge would tip every time you opened it. Demanded they change it out too. There was a total of one fork to eat with in the unit. They had to bring more of those too. The unit floor was filthy. The kids took their shoes off for one minute and their feet were black! Asked them to clean the floor but they never did. The furniture was stained and had spilled crusty food and gunk on it. It was awful and ruined my disabled mom’s trip since all she could do and wanted to do was sit on the front porch and watch the ocean. I learned while we were there that all the concerns were reported to management by previous renters and management assured them everything had been fixed, when in fact nothing had been fixed when we arrived. Shame on vacasa for scamming people who use their hard earned money to plan a little getaway to arrive to filth!

When we walked into the air bnb, the floors were EXTREMELY sticky. So were the chairs & dining room table. My uncle ended up mopping & wiping everything down because we could audibly hear our shoes sticking to the floor & it left shoe prints upon entry. When he went to dry everything with one of the towels, we were able to see how dirty everything was from the towels. I will provide photos. I slept in the middle room with the bunk beds, there was zero air flow & it was very hot & miserable in there. I wanted to like this place so bad, but we ended up using it as just a crash pad instead of a hang out spot like we had hoped. Luckily the rest of our family had a lake house we could hang out at. The description also says the house is “near the beach” but it isn’t really true. You’re right on the busy highway 101 & it isn’t really walkable to the beach unless you’re willing to walk for quite a while. Which was disappointing since we had dogs with us. I won’t be renting this location again.

OK Stay

It wasn't what I thought. The pictures make the place look better and bigger then what we got. It was hard to find the actual condo when we arrived at night time. You can hear the people above walking around. It was like we had elephants above us. And there were dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Needed more towels and blankets. Overall I would not stay there again.

Not waste your money!

The house was dirty upon arrival, had 2 wait to hours after scheduled check in time so that someone could clean it. Still was not very clean. Boogers on the door frame, finger prints dirty all over the doors. Food in the crease on the kitchen table. The seat on the futon would not stay on. The bed in one of the rooms was super uncomfortable, you could feel the springs through the mattress. Mice in the room. Wifi didn't work, I sent and email and was told to turn it off and turn it back on again. Still didn't work. People using our firepit in our backyard, people allowing their dogs to poop in the backyard and not clean it up. No cleaning supplies to wipe things down or sweep. We were not impressed at all and will never stay here again! Sent an email to VRBO letting them know of the conditions and have not heard anything back. Dont waste your money on this place!

Nice space for getaway

We had a hard time finding our place, but once we did, pleasantly surprised! I love kitchen/eating space. Definitely worth the money for a quick family getaway.

Not what it appears

The photos of this place make it look nice. In reality the carpet was disgusting, there was lipstick stains in the walls, towels were dirty, etc. The fire pit outside is apparently communal so we had people ten feet from our door all night hanging at the fire pit which meant we couldn’t even open our windows. Would not recommend this place.

Property was fairly clean. Good location but any movement from guests upstairs rattled the whole apartment. Our upstairs neighbors were a herd of elephants with concrete shoes.

We did enjoy our stay in Lincoln City. It could have been better with a few repairs. With 3 dogs it would be nice to have the 2 openings to the yard have a gate that can be closed if needed. The main issue we had was the heat in the livingroom. The pictures on the ad showed a electric fireplace. This was taken out and just the external frame. To make the room warm they replaced it with a portable space heater which was placed under the frount windows which have long cutrains. Which is a fire hazard and by the only excape out of the unit. Also with 2 couples staying in this unit for 4 nites. We ended up sleeping on different beds because of the condition of the mattress. They all sucked. I slept on the couch which was the best sleep but still need to replace that couch because it looks tacky with tape to patch rips. With being a rental I would not want people to rent it looking this way. The suggestions I have made here would not be that expensive and with them I would have been willing to rent this unit again. But as it is now I would not.

Poor Cleanliness and Maintenance

Not a good experience at all. What VRBO LISTED WAS NOT ACCURATE. The property was very run down and dirty. Was not happy with the care of the facility and staff. Was hard to get a hold of, did not return calls, and lied about the amount of money I was refunded. Ended up having to spend over $1,200 on last minute accommodations. Will not be back to the facility and I feel like I can’t trust VRBOs listings anymore.

Please read accurate review!

Check in states 4pm, room was still being cleaned at 535pm. They did thank us for being late or else we would have been screwed. Floors really dirty with hair, I asked for vacuum and vacuumed myself after indicating not sire if anymore would come up, it wasn not even vacuumed a first time. Tenants very loud above. Management not available to contact regarding noise. Swept bathroom and kitchen floors again due to hair and filth. Bottom of curtains disgusting in living room. Pictures are not correct to actual site. The only positive in staying at this location, was the view. Paid for something is was clearly not worth.

Great stay for thanksgiving.

Perfect stay for our family over thanksgiving. Close walk to the beach. The pictures are different to the current furniture/configuration but it easily accommodated our family of 4 and dog. This isn't the Ritz, but great value for the $. I see several negative comments about the property but you pay for what you get. That is why I rated it high in all categories.

Pet Friendly

This was a great, private suite to bring the family. It was a pet friendly suite, which I appreciated for my dogs. As such, carpets were pretty dirty and the sofa had seen better days. But we were comfortable and able to relax! Unfortunately the tv wasn't working but, hey, that meant more family bonding.

Not what we expected

The cleanliness of the place was horrible. The bedsheet had mold in one of the rooms. The bunk bed sounds and feels like they could fall apart any moment. There was a cookie sheet that was filled with grease that looked like it had been there for months under all the clean ones. Everything was outdated (hole in walls, carpet stains, etc.) for the price that you pay. Overall they should think of remodeling or lower the listing price.

Our smoke escape from Bend to Lincoln City

First, the address, 3733 SW Hwy 101, isn't visible anywhere that I saw. This unit is a Sandstone Property thru Vacasa, which is on a sign just past the Ester Lee motel sign. Putting 3733 SW Hwy 101 into Google Maps, we ended up down the hill from it at another property that wasn't Vacasa. A couple of other people did the same thing and with all of us searching the area with the help of a Vacasa employee back in Georgia using Google Earth, we finally found it. You have to turn into the Ester Lee motel parking lot and drive to the end of it to find the Sandstone units. The Dolphin Garden unit was kind of a dump, but ok for us and our young dog because it has a little grassy area and we didn't have to worry about him destroying anything inside. That said, it was a welcome relief from all the wildfire smoke in Central Oregon. The beach is beautiful and the air was clean. A bit of a jaunt up and down stairs and hills to get to it but we didn't mind after being cooped up at home. The beds are doubles, but the bathroom was fine, the shower was good and there were plenty of dishes & pots and pans for our purposes. Now there's plenty of coffee filters too.

Positive: It was available for the dates we wanted It allowed pets You can kind of see the ocean from the porch You can walk to the beach, but not easily Easy to find, right off the 101 Negative: Bath would not plug Barely a trickle came from the bath, had to fill the bathtub with the kitchen sink water and a bucket Ceiling lights were falling out Window wouldn’t lock and didn’t have a screen Bunk beds were unsteady and blocked the door from closing, didn’t feel safe for our kids Beds were very uncomfortable Picnic table outside was falling apart Other hotel guests with dogs would use the “private” garden area in front of our door, and not pick up their dog’s poop Fire alarms were expired by several years The smell was awful, we had to buy fabreez, Lysol spray and it didn’t help at all The carpets were extremely dirty Ran out of toilet paper

Great location, nice condo

The furniture is different than pictured, but they’ve definitely been upgraded. The water pressure in the shower is horrible, but it does the job. The location is great, you can see the ocean from the condo window, and you’re just a short drive to a public beach. Vacasa is wonderful to rent from. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
