I stayed here with three friends for a girls trip and we had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable for the four of us. The location was really convenient and made it easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it felt like a great value for what you get. We really enjoyed our stay!

Crystal was so quick to respond and provided so much helpful information! This was our family’s first time visiting Kauai and we will definitely be back and seeking out if this unit is available. We were so impressed with the convenience of the unit’s location, not only within the resort but in relation to places we were visiting on the island. My kids were old enough to walk between the pools and unit on their own yet the helicopter mom in me was comforted by being able to see them go from the lanai to pool while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you, Crystal, for sharing your piece of paradise!

laid back relaxing

this was a very low-key laid-back resort very very relaxing. I didn’t expect the humidity to the level. It was so you often felt damp at night, but the host had a dehumidifier and the air conditioning worked great wonderfully comfortable beds.Host was fantastic for communication. I would’ve stayed another couple days. Had they not had another check in.Kawai itself is very laid-back but if you do come here, please book in advance and do the tubing adventure down the plantation tunnels at Kauai backcountry adventures and the zip line tour Rudy and Jacob and Darren were fantasticit’s definitely not the walk along the beach type of vacation though it’s very rocky very windy and high heavy surf but beautiful

Short noticed renovations

Communication with my host was easy and replied urgently. Out room was very clean and lovely! However, it was rather frustrating not knowing that after arriving to the hotel, it would undergo planned renovations. After complaints from guest, they began leaving notices. First they closed off the laundry (without notice indefinitely) for renovations and offered no other onsite laundry locations. Nearest place was a laundry mat 5 mins away. Next day they gave a notice that they would be shutting off water and power for X amount of hours over 3 days. With a 4 month infant it was a huge inconvenience. My husband and I had to rearrange our itinerary to leave the hotel instead of enjoying it… which so happened to be the exact days we wanted to enjoy the resort. We made the best of our time, we just wish we knew about the renovations in advance to make other arrangements easier with our infant especially knowing we had laundry to do and breastmilk requiring refrigeration. I did not feel comfortable leaving my baby’s milk at the front desk. It added a lot of unnecessary frustration knowing we paid over 3k with these inconveniences.

Place was not as expected-host was great and tried to accomodate our issues quickly

The property is dated, but much quieter than other resorts. Pool area nice.The room was dirty on arrival, stains on bedding, slime on end tables, etc. The sliding door was jammed and worst of all the A/C quit the first night causing an uncomfortable nights sleep.We tried to eat at one restaurants but after being ignored by the hostess for 10min we were told we would have to wait, even though there were 20 empty tables?We went to the bar option and food was so-so. We asked for a couple items which the waitstaff forgot.Last try for food was breakfast and for the price I wouldn't recommend it. Runny eggs, burnt bacon, etc.The beach is not great in front of the resort. you will need to walk to avoid the reef out front to swim safely.We noted the resort is also in a wetland and my wife got more bug bites in one evening than a whole day in the jungle on the Napali coast.Also, know if you need anything do not ask the resort, you must run everything thru the host.You also cannot do room charges with the private unit rental.I have nothing but great things to say about the host Crystal. She was extremely responsive to our issues and had the cleaners come back thru asap which made a massive improvement.She got the door and A/C taken care of while we were out.I wish all hosts were as helpful and quick to address problems, she was wonderful.The resort and staff itself was out main concern.We did enjoy our stay overall but the initial bad taste had us looking.

Decent stay near LIH

the location is good with close proximity to LIH airport and the towns of Kapa'a, Poipu. The resort appears dated with the maintenance of facilities poorly managed such as the gym, the pool. This was a private unit and there were issues with the room such as leaky faucet in the bathtub, poor quality of bath towels.

Beautiful spot with easy beach access. Crystal, the hostess, was very friendly and helpful. The resort where the room is located is well run and has plenty of convenient amenities. The staff at the resort were very helpful and at the ready if any problems arose. The room itself is on the ground floor with very easy access to pool and beach. Parking was easy and there is a valet or self park option. I'm very satisfied with our choice.

Good place and good price

The grounds were beautiful and we loved that our room opened right up to the grounds. The staff at the resort were friendly and the restaurant had great food. It was peaceful and quiet. Air conditioning worked great! We thought the pools were chilly and it would have been nice if they were heated.
