Welcome to Buttercup Oasis! A one-of-a-kind charming retreat tucked away in a quiet leafy pocket of the Blue Mountains. Lovingly crafted from 95% recycled materials, with a private outdoor hot tub and fire pit. Only 4 minutes drive to Leura Mall and conveniently close to spectacular hiking trails, waterfalls, scenic lookouts and popular attractions. The perfect home away from home to relax and unwind after busy days of bushwalking, shopping or sightseeing in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

Experience the tranquillity of the beautiful Blue Mountains at Buttercup Oasis. This hand-crafted rustic mountain home is a unique blend of charm and comfort, with stunning surroundings and beautiful gardens.

Once part of the historic Old Leura Dairy Hotel, it now stands as a private self-contained haven with modern amenities, tucked away in a leafy garden setting with its own driveway, separate entrance and fenced courtyard.

BEDROOM:
Upstairs is the cosy loft bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, wardrobe with clothes hangers and a portable fan.

EXTRA BED:
There is a day bed (single-sized sofa) downstairs in the lounge room, perfect for stretching out with a good book, or which may be suitable for a child or additional guest. This can be made up as a bed upon request when booking.

KITCHEN:
Indoors is a basic kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave and mini fridge. However please be aware there is no stove or oven facilities. There is a gas BBQ outside on the patio which you are welcome to use.

LOUNGE ROOM:
Downstairs is the cosy lounge with log fireplace, TV and DVD player.

BATHROOM:
The elegant bathroom has a toilet, basin, shower and clawfoot bathtub.

HEATING/COOLING:
There is a fantastic wood burning fireplace in the lounge room and a gas heater in the kitchen to keep you toasty warm in winter. The bedroom has a portable fan, but please note this property does not have air-conditioning.

OUTDOORS:
Enjoy a coffee or a cheeky glass of local wine (or two) in the leafy private courtyard with the company of native birds and wildlife. In the evening, toast some marshmallows around the fire pit or unwind with a relaxing soak in the hot tub under the stars.

LOCATION:
Conveniently located only a short drive (4 minutes) to Leura village cafes, shops, galleries, and close to the beautiful Blue Mountains best attractions, bushwalks, waterfalls and scenic lookouts.

Katoomba town centre, the world-famous Three Sisters at Echo Point, and Scenic World with the Skyway cable car and the World`s Steepest Railway are also only 6-8 minutes drive away.

There is parking for one car on the driveway right by the entry gate.

We may be home at the adjoining property during your stay, but you`ll have your own driveway, separate entrance and fenced outdoor space to enjoy in peace and privacy.

We are always available via Airbnb message to answer any questions or help make your stay more comfortable, and have property managers who live nearby if we`re not at home and you do need any assistance.

A complimentary box of firewood and some kindling is provided during the winter months only. Additional bags of firewood and kindling are available from any of the service stations along the Great Western Highway or the Katoomba Bunnings.

Please note that this Airbnb is part of a larger property which may be occupied at times by the owner and family. However, Buttercup Oasis is designed for complete privacy and seclusion, tucked away with its own driveway and private fenced courtyard.

Please make sure you have read (and agree to) ALL the House Rules below before proceeding with your booking:

- Check-in time is after 3pm. Check-out time is by 11am.

- Unfortunately at this time we cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out requests due to the extra cleaning required between guests for COVID safety.

- Please make sure you have selected the correct number of guests before confirming your reservation. Bed linen and towels are supplied for the number of booked guests only.

- No glass or smoking in or around the hot tub area please.

- Children over 12 months old are considered a `child` not an `infant`. This is due to additional cleaning and linen costs and the extra wear and tear of toddlers vs babies. If your child is over 12 months of age, please add them to the booking as `child` when entering guest numbers.

- Only guests on the reservation are allowed on the property at any time. If extra guests or pets are found to be staying on the property, or if a noise complaint is made by neighbours, you may be asked to leave immediately with NO REFUND.

- Strictly NO parties, events or gatherings of any kind allowed without prior written permission from the owners/managers. This is a place for small groups, families, couples or solo travellers to enjoy a quiet stay of rest and relaxation.

- Sorry, strictly NO pets allowed for the safety and comfort of guests with severe pet allergies.

- To respect our neighbours, we ask you to please be mindful of your noise levels before 8am and after 10pm - especially outdoors.

- Please clean the BBQ after use. An extra cleaning fee of $100 will be deducted from your security deposit if the BBQ is not cleaned.

- Strictly NO smoking indoors. If you wish to smoke outdoors please place all cigarette butts in the red bin outside. Please do not throw cigarette butts in the gardens or put in any of the indoor bins.

- Please remember Airbnb is a community and you are staying in someone`s much-loved family home, not a hotel or a hostel. With this in mind, please treat the space with respect and leave it as you would hope to find it.

- Should you leave the property in a state that requires additional cleaning beyond the cleaners normal time/fees, this cost will be deducted from your security deposit.
