"We were a group of 15 family and friends visiting the Abruzzo region and Villa Carlucci was just perfect. We cooked as a group almost every night and the long table in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather around. Dr. Carlucci was wonderful - very easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and areas to explore. The Villa and grounds were beautiful and very well kept and we loved our stay! Highly recommend!"

"Es war einfach traumhaft, die Wohnung, die Aussicht, die Ruhe, der Pool, die Gastgeber….Die Casa della Zia liegt sehr abgelegen, aber es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen in der Nähe mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, vor allen Dingen die Abende auf der Terrasse. Wenn wir nochmal in die Abruzzen fahren, dann auf jeden Fall zu Peter und Julie."

The village itself is very quiet with just a few facilities - bar, small food store, pharmacy - but only a 15min drive to the large town of Sulmona which has all you need and a great market on Wednesday and Saturdays. "We had a fabulous 2 weeks at the villa. We enjoyed lazy days by the pool during the hot daytimes. The Villa is well situated for visiting typical Abruzzo villages and the Trabocchi coast. The villa has everything you need for your holiday and was ample big enough for 6 adults and 3 children. The sunsets from the balcony were beautiful! "Ho soggiornato in questa splendida casa la prima settimana di settembre in compagnia di amici . Siamo stati accolti da Erica e Fabrizio simpaticissimi ragazzi. Ci hanno mostrato la casa PULITISSIMA!!!! Molto ben organizzata . Siamo stati talmente bene che non abbiamo avuto la necessità di recarci in spiaggia al mare che era distante solo pochi chilometri. Erica e Fabrizio si sono sempre prodigati a darci informazioni sui luoghi da visitare , dove appoggiarsi per la spesa, vari ristoranti....

"Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Giacintas Anwesen ist wundervoll für eine ruhige Auszeit. Bzgl. der Umgebung empfehle ich, sich gut zu erkundigen. Die alten Stadtkerne sind in ihrer Mittelalteranmutung schön, aber sehr verlassen. Die Strände, die wir gesehen haben, sehr vom Hochtourismus geprägt. Muss man mögen. Landschaftlich von schön bis, naja, nicht so schön. Fazit - wer sich im Anwesen entspannen möchte, findet hier das Richtige. Unternehmungen sollten vorher gut geplant sein."

"L’accoglienza da parte dei proprietari è stata fantastica e ci hanno viziato con le prelibatezze dell’orto del sig. Bruno ( uva fichi pomodorini basilico peperoni peperoncino prezzemolo ). Hanno accolto anche i nostri due cani di taglia media e anche se abitano al piano superiore, la privacy è assoluta."
