Beautiful home

This was such a great property for family and friends. It is clean and open with space for all. The location makes it such a great option to explore the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Beautiful cabin!

We had the best time at Bearded Wonder. We’ve stayed in many cabins in the area and this is the nicest one we have ever stayed in. Heated garage was an incredible bonus. Thanks!!! We hope to stay here again!

Great cabin

Repeat Visitors!

We had another great trip to Terry Peak, and the bearded wonder! The home was in great shape, and the 10 of us who stayed enjoyed all of it! The hot tub was hot and clean, the games for the kids were great, the ability to put two cars in the garage was a bonus! Highly recommend!

Weekend getaway

We had such a great time. The house was awesome! The hot tub was so clean and nice and warm on the cooler nights. The trails were so fun! Just a great time all in all! We definitely will be back!!! Thank you again!!!

Lovely Getaway

Loved this home and all the amenities. There were games for the kids and adults, wonderful deck with a hot tub and a great view! There was plenty of space in the bedrooms and was an easy drive to everything you could want to see in the Hills. Can’t wait to go back!

Relaxing with beautiful scenery

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful and clean house. Quiet neighborhood with wonderful scenery. The road driving up to the house is steep, but was not a concern for us. Close to many fun things to do in Deadwood and surrounding ares. Lots of fun trails to hike nearby. We had a great time!

Family Reunion

.It had been 7 years since our family of 11 had all been together, due to the pandemic and busy work schedules. Our family consists of my husband and me, our two sons and their wives and 5 grandchildren, ages 4-12. This beautiful home was perfect for our family, especially the 5 bed "kids bedroom" where the cousins got re- acquainted and had a great time. The parents' bedrooms were also upstairs and we grandparents had the master bedroom and bath to ourselves on the main floor. We found this home was more than adequately supplied with everything that we needed for making meals, being together and having fun. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table and shuffleboard game. Any issues that arose were dealt with fairly quickly by the management company. We hope to be able to return, hopefully sooner than 7 years!

Amazing location for a quiet weekend.

Lovely semi-secluded cabin located by Terry Peak. Close enough to the offerings of Deadwood and Lead to not make it an issue but also far enough away to catch some amazing views. Neighbors were spaced out nicely for privacy and plenty of space on the property.

Great times at the Bearded Wonder!

This property was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The heated garage is a huge bonus for stowing ski boots and ski gear. It was super convenient for sling a Terry Peak. We enjoyed our stay and love to return in the future!

Exceeded Expectations

Sometimes you see pictures and you just assume it’s not going to look like that when you get there. This place was the opposite, it was better! Tons of space, it actually felt way bigger then the pictures - we had two families of 5, with 6 kids between 6-12. The kitchen amenities covered all our needs, the hot-tub was hot, clean and working, and the garage was a great perk with the heated garage and dropzone area for our ski gear. The kids loved the games, large connect 4, shuffle board and foosball table - these were perks we didn’t expect from the pictures. Outside of that our primary reason to visit was to ski and this location was perfect - 2 minutes.

Amazing get away

The Bearded Wonder was the perfect house for our friends and family for a new years get away! We enjoyed all the games the home had, and other accommodations! Beautiful home, very clean! Will definitely book for future trips!

Black Hills Vacation Gem

Our 3 families (12 guests) stayed comfortably at Bearded Wonder. The location near Terry Peak was cool and comfortable day and night, plus we were within minutes of Deadwood and about an hour from Mt. Rushmore and Keystone. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, relaxing and hot tubbing. When we discovered upon arrival a bed was broken and the hot tub needed some additional chemicals, management responded in less than 24 hours to fix the bed and deliver the chemicals. Would highly recommend this property!

Retreat in the mountains!

Very clean and exactly as pictured! Fully stocked with everything you may need to include shampoo, conditioner and body wash! Unfortunately, the soap dispenser fell off the wall after the first day. Contacted them and received a response right away. Area was nice and quiet. Great view! Only downside was the main road the house was on and the gravel driveway, very steep. The wheels on my minivan were spinning every time we went up them, but we made it! We loved this property and would stay here again!

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was spacious and beautiful! We loved the gathering spaces. Would recommend they add some sort of fan to the room with bunk beds because it get quite stuffy.
