Avoid stay

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with this VRBO rental was deeply upsetting and disappointing from the moment we arrived. We showed up just 30 minutes early, unaware that this would provoke such an extreme reaction. The host approached me and my family in a rage, yelling and threatening us with trespassing. Even after we explained that we were the VRBO guests, he continued to bark at us to leave the property until check-in time. I was genuinely afraid the situation might escalate further, and it created an immediate sense of fear and unease that never fully left during our stay.Unfortunately, the condition of the rental only added to our discomfort. The property was clearly not cleaned properly: we found a beer can inside the coffee table, dust and crumbs on the furniture, and the overall cleanliness was far below expectations. To make matters worse, we had to endure loud music and television noise coming from the basement late into the night, which made it nearly impossible to rest.Due to a family emergency, we had to leave four days early. We contacted the host to request a partial refund, but they showed no compassion and refused to provide any reimbursement.If we hadn’t already paid in full for the 10-day stay, we would have left after the first day and booked a hotel instead. This was by far the worst hosting experience we’ve ever had. Unprofessional, hostile, and completely lacking in basic hospitality. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from

Beautiful home!! Perfect for two families meeting to go to a Clemson football game and wanted to stay on the lake. We have rented numerous houses through VRBO and this house had everything you need!! The best!!

Tranquil quiet getaway.

We were in town visiting my daughter and her fiancé. All four of us and our dog were very comfortable the whole week. We didn’t venture out much but we did cook every day and enjoy the patio. The house has everything you and your fur baby could possibly need! We will stay here again next time.

Great lake house

Great house for our family get away. Very well stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable. Really enjoyed the back deck and the view of the lake. The split floor plan was nice, provided a little privacy since we were sharing the house with our adult daughter and her fiance.

Property is amazing ! Someone has good taste.

We came to Bass fish, as we are retired and go around the Southeast looking for special places for the sport. I Give this property and owners a great job well done. Very clean and the kitchen is very nice for food preparation. My wife is very critical if things are overlooked. She was very comfortable there, made it a good trip for me. Peaceful, and we felt safe. I would recommend to everyone.

This spacious house is sooooo comfy! The beds and shower are my biggest priority when I get away to relax and this house had the best of both! The house and grounds were meticulous!! Great getaway.

Business trip with family

Wonderful place to stay when in the Lake Hartwell area. The deck is super spacious and a very comfortable area to enjoy the outdoors. Inside the house has everything you need, so just bring your clothes and food to get settled in. We were lucky enough to see all sorts of wildlife during our stay. It is super quiet.
