Girl’s trip

We had a great time! 5 women celebrating a major birthday milestone, and this house was perfect! Gloria was terrific to work with, and it really could not have been better. Plenty of room, spotless, and space for us to gather and be together when we weren’t out. Thank you for making this trip so special!

Great deal

The house was great and rooms were very accommodating. The layout of the house lent itself to our meeting space. It was a great stay. The only issue was the slipperiness in the bathroom of the tubs and floor. There are no bath mats and one of our adults fell in the shower due to the slipperiness of the tub.

Family Getaway

Super awesome hosts! Always responds quickly when I had any questions. Super clean and spacious for my family. Comfortable beds. Love the location of being 10min from the strip and outlets. Great Uber location of 5min or less. Having a private pool was the best of all amenities. The hosts have thought of items needed such as beach towels to laundry detergent. Great stay.

We arranged for an early 2:00 pm check in which was accommodated but when we arrived at 2:30 the property was not ready. The property was under construction which included, uncompleted walls, no lighting in the kitchen and a 20 ton dumpster filled with debris in the driveway. When we inquired about the electrical issues, the owner seemed distressed and stated that he was worried we would not provide him with a positive review and decided to terminate the rental agreement and requested we leave the property. Our money has been refunded by VRBO but stated they could not assist us with a same day rental so we were left to fend for ourselves. This has been a very frustrating experience and we will not be looking a book another VRBO in the near future.

Perfect for our needs

We had to get family together at the last minute and Rancho Oakey was perfect for our needs. Plenty of rooms and communal space. Host communicated rules well and was responsive to requests. Would stay again!

Would stay again at Phoenix House.

The owners are fabulous! Great location. We had 16 adults on the property and there was enough room. Easy for Uber or Lyfts. Pool area was nice. Could have used more chairs around pool. A few things need to be fixed. Would stay here again as it is close to Freemont and the main strip.

Roomy and clean!

We enjoyed our stay here! Yes there were curfew restrictions due to their hotel licensing, but but we took advantage of the outside/pool hours in the day. Never received a call from the owners… I see a a few reviews of people saying they had calls, they must’ve been really loud to get a call! We were loud indoors and didn’t have an issue. Overall would stay again and recommend to others!

Non-vegas retreat

Thus place has a 9pm curfew for the backyard and noise sensors which triggers the owners to call you when you are outside past 9pm. You can't park on the street and has a restriction on the number of adults. This is the first house in vegas that I have been to where there was so many rules and restriction that are not disclosed until after you pay them in full. Other then that, the place was fairly clean but a little dated on what it inside. So if you want to have a nightlife In the backyard and use the pool then this is not the place for you.

Great pool, Close, clean, needs a little repair- Great for Groups

My group stayed here for a week over the Memorial Day Holiday. We were are mix of both adults and kids. Our group had mixed feelings about this property. Overall it’s a nice house in a great location. It was very clean, well stocked, and convenient for a large group stay. However the house had been beaten up a bit and needs some repairs. The good definitely outweighed the bad and I would stay here again. The owner made it clear that they were working on fixing some things we were just the group that had to put up with them prior to repairs. Pros Location: You can get to everything in 15 minutes or less. Check In: Easy, no keys. Pool: The pool area was a nice size and felt amazing when trying to get away from the heat. Lots of seating and fenced in if you have little ones. Clean: self explanatory Quiet: Street is very quiet. Great when traveling to Vegas with kids or don’t want to stay on the strip. Owners: Friendly, Very responsive to questions/requests Amenities: Well equipped with pretty much everything you would need for your stay including 2 washers and dryers, plenty of toiletries (hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent), lots of towels which is necessary with a pool, and plenty of cooking utensils. Cons Wear and Tear: We were warned that the house was a little abused before our arrival. There was a carpet tack exposed which was poking toes. We eventually had to put towel over it so no one else would hurt their feet. The fridge ice maker was broken, a little inconvenient as we had to keep buying ice. There was a rip in the couch. Dishwasher needs to be cleaned, there was a smell. The master bed was broken. Not enough TVs: For a house with 6 bedrooms there were only 3 TVs. 1 in each of the king bedrooms and 1 in the living room. That meant everyone else had to use the living to watch TV. If there was at least one more TV in the bunk room, where I think most people would put the kids, I think that would help out. No Dressers: Only 2 of the rooms had dressers to unpack. So, the majority of us had to keep our clothes in our luggage. As a result there was a lot of luggage around. If there were dressers we could have unpacked and put luggage away in closets. There was plenty of closet space.

Very disappointed!!!

If you wanna be spy 24/7 by the owner and get calls in the middle of the night go ahead and book this house. We got A call from the owner And got thread to be evicted in the middle of night Because my brothers were taking a nap in the couch with no noise . The house is nice. And clean after all ! But we were very disappointed it and we will never book this property anymore !

Business Stay

This property was perfect for 5 of us to stay in for our business trip to Las Vegas. The owner messaged me on day one to make sure that we had everything we needed and to contact her if there was anything we needed. The house is so big it was nice to have our own private space.

A (massive) home away from home

Venza and Dillon were great hosts, very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The house was huge, nicely furnished and well-equipped, with fast internet and plenty of peace and quiet. A great Vegas base.
