Big House Built in the 90’s
Pros: big 4 bedroom house A lot of games (pool, darts, etc) A lot of TVs if you like watching TV Backyard has plenty of seating, fire pit, bbq etc Property Manager (Cheryl) was fantastic. Good neighborhood A nice city park just a block away (great for dogs) Sound of waterfall running into the pool drowns out any street noise Cons: Built in mid-1990’s with many original fixtures Running the pool/hot tub was a bit complicated Hot tub was missing some jet inserts

Relaxing Vegas Vacation
This house completed a perfect first Vegas vacation. The house spacious, clean, beautiful. Our host Cheryl was there to greet us and make everything smooth and wonderful. It was great. We will be back.

Family Vacation
We stayed at the house for a family wedding. It was great to have a large enough space for us to spread out. We loved that the house had a pool and BBQ. We will definitely be returning. Cheryl made the stay so easy too.

Pleasure to Stay at Desert Villa
I couldn't of asked for a better host during our stay at Desert Villa. The house was all it was advertised as and more. I would suggest this rental if you are looking for a home away from home.

Las Vegas golf trip
We stayed at the house for a long golf weekend. Cheryl was a very helpful host. Always available and very helpful. The house was extremely clean and in very good condition - just as advertised. Great location. Very quiet, nice neighborhood. Great location in the Summerlin area. Close to grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants and more. Would highly recommend staying here if you want to visit the Las Vegas area but don't want to be in the middle of the Strip...

Great house - Cheryl is amazing!
This was one of the nicest VRBO houses we have stayed in. The location was fabulous, amenities were super - pool and hot tub awesome!!! I can’t say enough about Cheryl - I have never had anyone meet us for a walk through - she is top notch and very easy/accommodating to work with. House very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking - towels/beach towels provided. Pool table balanced and the boys loved it!! Can’t say enough good about this experience - WE WILL BE BACK!!

Comfortable and Fun
This home is beautiful and there is so much space. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property easily accommodated all of us, 2 couples and 2 singles. We very much appreciated the check-in walk-through process, it made it easier for us to navigate once we were left to ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes and had most of what we needed. We will definitely consider staying here again and becoming one more of their "regulars".

1985 girls reunion
We had such a incredible stay at this property. It leteraly had it stocked to the hilt, Kitchen, linens, etc. All you need to do is bring yourself and clothes. The Kitchen had everything spices coffee, all pans utinsils youd ever need. Just bring your food cook and enjoy. The pool was fantastic. Only issue was the hot tub never was hot :) but we sure did enjoy the pool and the outside sitting area. We brougt our own games but the property had a variety of board games, pool table etc. We had seriously had nothing but good to say about this property and stay. So cozy , homey gave us nothing but time to catch up with each other. We will be back. You will not be disappointed with this property. Super helpful owner and the gentleman checking us in was so though and kind. FANTASTIC STAY THANKYOU

July vacation
Overall our stay was good. The house is nice, there was a family that left the same day as we checked in and the house could of been cleaner. We met the property owner there and she did a very quick walk through with us, she pointed out things that weren’t up to her cleaning standards either. There is sand in the backyard as part of the patio oasis vibe, there was a few wind storms while we were there so the sand and other trash and debris ended up in the pool. No way to vacuum it out. The dryer kept throwing and error code related to the lint trap but Cheryl was very helpful when we called her. Also, this is pretty far away from the strip and Fremont. Which is better for a low key stay. Depending on the day and time cabs and or Uber can range from $20-$70. Just something to keep in mind

We were a group of seven that served during Desert Storm... had not seen each other in 30 years... this house was exactly what we were looking for. Far enough of the strip to stay out of trouble, but close enough to get down there with ease... the game room was a hit as well as the outdoor space... looking forward to doing it again!

Nice property
Good size house with more than enough room for us. The location was great for a family retreat. The property manager was very helpful and informative when we got there and walked us through the house. The one thing we didn't particularly like was the sand in the backyard. Even though we stayed out of it, the sand spread across the backyard and quickly made everything feel dirty.

Crystal/owner met us and gave us a complete overview of where everything was and how to use pool and hot tub. Although the home has some outdated/antique spots, crystal said those will soon be updated. Overall house was clean, grill and pool were in outstanding condition. Thoroughly enjoyed this location and the home.

House isn’t new but it is clean and had everything we needed and more. Cheryl was an excellent property manager, very attentive and took great care of us. Our only complaint were the hard beds, they could use a mattress topper but other than that the house was great.

Perfect for us
This house was perfect for us to meet up with our family who live in different parts of the country. Plenty of items in the kitchen to cook. We enjoyed the pool table and darts and the outside space was great.

40th birthday celebration
The house was very nice. The pool area is the best reason to book this house and stay there. It is beautiful and has some extra things which makes is amazing. Cheryl was great, responsive, and we had a great time. The house was clean and beautiful. The house is older and could do with many upgrades...still beautiful though. Some of the dishes in the cabinet were in there dirty, we had to go buy a kitchen towel as there were none, the towels and beach towels are old and a couple ripped, and had no sheets for one of the queen size beds so they slept on a mattress pad for 3 nights. Cheryl dropped off a new sheet set but was the wrong size. We let these thing go and made it work...not the end of the world. Overall, the house was great as were the owners. Unfortunately, after check out it went downhill. There is no checklist with check-in process to go through and mark off everything they are going to review at check-out. We followed everything that was left for us to do at check out and made sure we left the home the way we found it but I was contacted about an umbrella that was damaged. I was shocked and really just upset because we took so much care of their home and we did not damage anything. I hate being told I damaged something knowing it is not true. The umbrella was never opened and reviewed at check in so I have no way of knowing if it was damaged before us nor do I remember it being damaged. We put it up and put it down...that's it. We did not damage anything in the house and would have told them if we did as we are not those kind of people. So, make sure you get a check list of what is going to be reviewed at check out so you can review it at check in; otherwise you might be contacted for something you didn't review at check-in to say it was damaged at check out. Overall, I would recommend the house as they take care of it and has some great amenities.

Beautiful Place to Stay for Family Fun
Fantastic property. The house and back yard pool offers total entertainment for all ages. The waterfall gives a sense of relaxation with a resort feel. Huge kitchen well stocked. Large wet bar and pool table, with all the amenities you really don't have to go anywhere else. Red Rock Casino 10 minutes away. The Managers are so friendly and quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely stay at the Desert Villa again. Can't wait to go back.

This was our second time staying at this house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed, beyond clean, and was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The whole family had a lot of fun in the pool. Our host Cheryl was very sweet, helpful and fast responding when we had a question. We totally recommend staying at this house.

Absolutely Amazing
Stayed at this house for a bachelors event with a group of 7 guys. I asked if we could check in earlier since our flights arrived early and the property manager stood in contact with me with updates on how soon we could go to the house. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the house, which is absolutely beautiful!! The pool was perfect for all of us, and of course we had a great time with the pool table. A great/comfy house for all of us, more than enough space. About 20 min drive from the strip, which is not that bad since we all go back together. Definitely recommend this house!!! 5 stars all around!!!! Thankyou Cheryl and Nabil for this amazing house!!!!

An Experience that was hard to beat
Only recommendation - Master Bath needs privacy screen. Hard to do your business when someone is laying in bed watching or when someone comes into the bedroom unannounced. Cheryl Polk is an excellent person to do business with. Also appreciate very much the use of the garage to store motorcycles while we were there.

not a 5 star house in my opinion
we arrived at 4:10PM to find cleaning people still cleaning, property owner showed up and gave us a tour which was odd and didn't leave until 6pm. We have rented homes from HomeAway several times and never had any issues, nor have I ever left a bad review, so this is a first. I was asked for a photo of my ID and CC. I have never had to do this before. HomeAway said it was unethical to photograph my CC because it's on file with them. As we start unpacking from our 20 hours of travel, we noticed we're not allowed to use master closet, kitchen pantry and most important the garage. Dresser and nightstands filthy inside, so lived out of suitcases. The Wi-Fi doesn't work well, so I called Cheryl and she said she could have Cox come take a look. I wasn't going to sit at the house all day waiting for a repair man because we had other things planned, so we used our data instead. Pool looked dirty/cloudy (it's only 4-5 foot deep) I called Cheryl, she had the pool guy come clean it which was nice of her. I noticed how dirty the house was so I started cleaning the areas/ things we would be using. Both slider door handles that I wiped down were horribly black as well as the refidge and freezer handles. I wiped down too much to list. The kitchen cupboards are dirty and have a sticky film on them. The grill was filthy and had almost zero propane in it, so we only used it twice before it ran out. One of the bdrm's has a bed that is so hard it feels like one is laying on a bed of cement, another bdrm the mattress felt like it was over 50 years old, the 3rd bed room has 2 twin beds and those seems okay. Master bdrm, bed was okay, the room has the bed, bath, shower, toilet and sinks in one room, so the only door for all privacy is the master bedroom door which doesn't lock. Many of the walls/doors though out the house were filthy with scuff marks and baseboards dirty too. The living room has two remotes to the fans and the remotes were filthy and sticky, so I cleaned those too. The kitchen sink is badly stained and nicked. Also, there's no toaster, but has a toaster oven! lol The bathroom off living room has a sink with tons of cracks in it, that looks like it won't hold water. This house backs up to a busy street, so was not relaxing while trying to enjoy the pool and there are only two lounge chairs. The house is in need of serious updating and deep cleaning. AC works great, TV's nice, couches nice, pool table nice, washer & dryer nice.

Wonderful The place was great, we utilized the many games provided and enjoyed everything. We enjoyed the house to the point we only went out on the town 1 night the majority of the time my brothers and I spent in the pool, and playing the games that were provided. we really enjoyed the time spent at the Villa. Cheryl the manager was amazing she was very proficient when she was called for any reason and she handled it right away issue solved, Cheryl THANK YOU, you were great and we would GLADLY DO IT AGAIN and HAVE RECOMMENDED YOUR RENTAL TO FRIENDS. Bye bye til we meet again soon...

Although the house is a little far away from the strip and downtown, it’s more than worth it. Cheryl was extremely kind and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. A great place to unwind after the casino.

Family fun
We had a wonderful time at the desert villa. The home was large enough for our entire family. The game room with the pool table was fantastic! We were able to go down to the strip and downtown whenever we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl,the property manager. She was available whenever we needed anything. This home gave us a place to gather together n we enjoyed our time in Las Vegas.

Best experience at this beautiful house
We are a group of six, including four teenagers. The house has a lot of entertainments for the kids and we have a blast to enjoy the evening after the busy sightseeing during the days. With an extra fee to cover the heating system, we can enjoy the pool and the spa during the winter at Las Vegas. Cheryl the owner provided a five stars service, including the tour of the house at the time of our arrival. We will denfinely come back to this house next time to go to Las Vegas.

Great comfort for group or two families.
Cheryl was 5star from start to finish. She made everything was ready for our golfing group. 5 bedrooms and many locations for couple people or entire group. Billiards/Game room, living room, kitchen, backyard had 3 hang out areas. We will stay here again.
