220 Appian Way review

The house is as described. Only issue was I had submitted a question about a possible early check in and did not receive an answer only a generic check in response. There was standing water in the dishwasher that stank to high heaven but we ran a cycle through it and that cleared it up. The pool and hot tub worked without any issues whatsoever. All appliances worked without issue other then noted.

Weekend to see Donnie

Great house to stay in for a couple of days to see Donnie Osmond to perform In vegas. The house is out if the craziness of the strip but close enough to get there quickly. Close to grocery stores and restaraunts. Check in was easy and information was clear and complete. Clean and comfortable. We'll stay here again if possible.

Relaxing

Property was fantastic.. Pool and hot tub were the highlight of the stay. My granddaughters literally lived in it when we at the house.. It’s about 20 minutes from the strip and it was so peaceful. Everyone is in agreement for a return next year at the time of my granddaughters’ competition.

Nice home, need better instructions for pool, etc.

The house was super clean and beds are great, location is near my family, so we will return in the future. The pool-spa instructions and house rules need to be printed out and in a book or on the fridge. I missed the email with instructions and couldn’t use the WiFi without the password for the first day. The pool instructions are very difficult to follow. I’m not the first guest to point that out. Call the number at the bottom if you need help to get it working. Guest bath faucet has a drip, the shower handle is falling apart. It should be replaced IMO. Air hockey table barely works. Putting green is nice, spa is nice once you figure out the confusing instructions. Kitchen is well-appointed, TVs are good, location is convenient for getting around Henderson and getting on the freeways. Overall, we had a good stay, it was just frustrating not to be able to use the spa when we arrived.

Ok property with a good pool

Overall the property was ok for what we were looking for. There are definitely some areas that need attention. This property is clearly just an investment property that is one of many the owner has. It has just enough to get it rented but I feel it is missing all the details that would make people want to rent again. PROS: great pool which was heated to 85 (almost felt like a hot tub), beds were comfortable, large master bedroom, great AC that worked really well, comfortable beds, and Roku TVs in every room was really nice! CONS: the furniture wasn’t very comfortable in the living room with the TV so lounging to watch TV wasn’t the best. There wasn’t a garbage in the master bathroom, some of the towels were dirty, and the home desperately needs a deep cleaning. There was an old used bandaid found behind the couch on the windowsill, the blinds behind the kitchen sink had old food on them, one of the walls in the bedroom had something spilled running down it. The master bathroom had a used hair tie sitting in the windowsill. And when we first arrived I put my 10 month old in his walker and let him run around the house and after about 10 min I noticed his feet were completely black. So we had to wear sandals on the hardwood floors during our stay because the floors were so dirty. Furniture on back patio could also use an update. With a little bit of attention this could be a great property! Like I said above it’s just missing the attention to detail!

Awesome Backyard!

The pool and hot tub were great, as well as the air hockey table and other backyard games. It was a very nice stay and the owner was super responsive. Property is in a neighborhood, closer to biking and hiking trail than the Vegas strip, but that's what we were looking for.

Nice house but could use some attention

This house was a little on the pricier side of what we wanted but a heated pool/spa was a must. There was an air hockey table which was fun, however it was so loud when turned on, no one could sit in the kitchen area & visit. The large garage that was almost empty would have been a better location for this table. There was a washer & dryer available for us to use, but the dryer sounds like it was tumbling rocks when in use. I would have been apprehensive to use it, except the pool towels had been left in there after being laundered from the previous guests so it was clearly being used. There were tiny sugar ants in the kitchen that we kept killing & wiping up & this was concerning until we found ant killer in the kitchen drawer so it was obvious this was not a new issue for the owner. We kept the counters clear and dishes washed but they were so bad that they took over the sugar & creamer that the owner had left for us to use. The listing says it sleeps 8 guests. There are 3 bedrooms, each sleep 2, & 2 couches. 1 couch was large enough for an adult or tall teenager to sleep on. The 2nd a love seat was not (in my opinion) big enough for someone to sleep on. It would have been nice to have bunk beds in 1 of the bedroom’s vs using the couches. Sound in the house echoed bad due to not having carpet or many wall hangings. Adding area rugs or wall hangings would have helped dampen the sound but again, my opinion. The toilet paper holder & hand towel holder in the master bathroom were both broken. The toilet paper had been shoved onto the one piece that was attached to the wall, the other half sitting in the window. The hand towel holder fell off the wall the first time I dried my hands. Bath tub faucet handle in main bathroom was very loose and hard to use. My husband looked at all & found it was just the set screws. Small things but for the cost of the house, should not have been overlooked. The pool/spa were great since we were coming from a very cold climate. Valve controls were a little cumbersome but we figured it out & we enjoyed these very much. Everyone loved the putting green, side yard with the BBQ, ladder golf and the patio table & chairs. There were plenty of clean towels, kitchen, living room and dining were all spacious. The bedrooms were nice size, & the beds & linens very comfy. The owner was quick to respond to questions during our stay. Overall the house was nice but for the price could use some attention.

Perfect getaway home

This house met our family’s needs for a 6 day getaway perfectly! The remodeled interior was very clean, neat, and well-appointed. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed multiple times daily! Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed (including coffee and a Keurig). The home could benefit from some additional hooks in the bathrooms for wet suits and towels, and the patio door could use replacing, but overall, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Nice getaway

Overall we had a nice stay. It was a rough start as the pool was not yet heated and instructions had not been left on how to do so. Communication was good and after inquiring, instructions were sent. The heater in the house was not working and we ended up spending 1.5 days waiting until a heating specialist could come to fix it. We were provided with space heaters in the meantime which worked well. The air hockey table was non-functional which was a disappointment to my son. The back sliding door did not lock securely. It felt like this was a VRBO just starting out and not quite dialed yet but the owners were very responsive which was great. We have a nice stay.

Little slice of paradise

Fantastic home for our family of 7. The property is very private and the heated pool was fantastic! We got to swim on Christmas Day! Close enough to the strip for fun evenings but far enough away to get quiet and relaxation. Just lovely all around. We’d come again in a heartbeat.
