Ahead of our arrival we thought our host, Ryan, was great. Quick to respond to questions, etc. On the day of check-in….it was VERY different. Our host never processed our reservation through the main system at MGM Signature. We tried calling at check-in….messaged through VRBO…called the vrbo customer service number where they also tried contacting them for us. We ended up needing them (vrbo customer service) to cancel out reservation and process a refund. After over an hour of waiting g and trying to contact our host it was our only choice. Even after contacting Ryan at least a half a dozen times, as well as after getting support from vrbo, he never responded or apologized for the inconvenience.MGM Signature was AMAZING! They worked to get us art with a new unit, helping us to navigate the financial struggle this has put us. We loved the facility, the pools across all of MGM were great and location was great as well. We use vrbo regularly, and have never run into an issue like this. Hopefully it was just a fluke.Some sort of recognition of this mishap from our host would have been appreciated. Please be sure to have the host show proof of the reservation being put in the MGM system and to provide a confirmation number through MGM BEFORE you leave for your trip. It seems like other renters were able to check-in. Wish we would have left a better review!
