"This was by far our favorite location. Beautiful view and great location. It was a little inconvenient to go upstairs to go to the bathroom. I also was a little shocked to see people sitting right outside our patio door having breakfast at 7am."

"We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family."
