A perfect spot

We stayed here in between camping dates at National Parks and the house was a delightful place to regroup and explore Joshua Tree. Simon is an incredibly responsive host and the house is exactly as shown and described. The most useful feature was the washer and dryer! I look forward to being able to visit and stay, again!

Nice and Remote

If you're wanting to be in the desert but not too far off the beaten path, this is the place. Photos are accurate as to how updated the property is. Everything was nice and worked properly. Highly recommend!

So nicely clean and presented

Lovely home, professionally presented with fancy folded towels and washcloths in abundance, black makeup wash cloths and special placement of throw blankets on each bed. Quiet and private rural neighborhood. Highly recommend would stay here again!!

Loved the quiet, rural atmosphere of the location

This stay was just about as quiet and pretty as it gets. We saw the stars on the last night of our stay, and it was worth the name, "Stargazers Oasis". Our manager, Simon, was very prompt and efficient.

Awesome place!

This place was perfect and it was clean and well stocked. Newer building and the parking was nice on a concrete pad and layout inside is very nice. Perfect communication with the host and no issues at all. Neighbors are not super close and was very quiet at night. Will stay here again for sure!

Stargazing and Exploring around Joshua Tree

We had a great experience at the Becker Road House and Simon is one of the most accessible, friendliest, helpful hosts we've experienced through VRBO. Check in and check out were super easy and he gave great directions to the house. The house is off the beaten path, which is just what we wanted to escape light pollution and take in the night sky. There are great markets just 10 min down the road in Yucca Valley, which made making meals at home easy. The entrance to Joshua Tree Nat'l Park was just 15-20 min away from the house and visiting Palm Springs was easy-- about 1 hr drive from the house. The house warms up quickly and felt very cozy. The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels and basic supplies and soaps/detergents/shampoos, which we appreciated. We had already been traveling a few days before our arrival and I was very grateful for the large clothes washer and dryer and detergent we could use! We could have used a few spare small trash bags for the bathrooms, but there were plenty of kitchen trash bags and all of the paper items we needed (paper towels, TP, tissues). We played some of the card and board games one night and made s'mores at the outdoor firepit another night. The house made a great basecamp for all of our adventures and a comfy place to just hang out and relax. Thanks for having us!

Short stay and fun

We had a nice time. Simon was very communicative. The location is great and i appreciated all the directions he provided ti get there l. We didn't have working lights in the bedroom and 4 chairs for 5 people in the kitchen, but I think Simon will fix that soon.

Peace and quiet

Cozy secluded home with beautiful 360 views. Enjoyed the fire pit while star gazing. It was so incredibly quiet out there. Nice and modern home. My daughter enjoyed her scooter on the concrete parking pad

Great host great location!

Loved the stay! Love the high desert area access! We hit a concert down at Pappy & Harriets, went off-roading up in Johnson valley, did some star gazing, enjoyed the peace and quite, we were also planning on going down into Joshua Tree but didn’t get around to that. Price is reasonable and the place is clean and well laid out! Could use a few more kitchen pots/pans and maybe a couple activities like horseshoes or something in the back yard would be cool but beyond that I would still highly recommend the stay! Host was great and check in was easy. Thanks again!

Definitely will be back. Everything worked including central air, clothes washers, plumbing. Kitchen is well equipped. Very quiet area. Great desert views. Close to JTNP.

Lovely Getaway

My sisters and i had a lovely weekend at Simon's place. The location was perfectly remote but accessible to stores and food options, Walmart was a great plus. We loved sitting in the yard and soaking up the night sky. 10/10

The Perfect Getaway Near Integratron

My friends and I drove to Joshua Tree to attend to an event at Integratron. We were looking for a home that was near its location and that was spacious and clean to house our friends. We found the perfect retreat here! The home was even better in person than online! It was super clean, chic and beautifully designed. The home is literally a 6 minute drive to Integratron so that was a huge bonus for us too. In addition, the host was great and made the process effortless. We also really enjoyed spending the evening outside gazing at the stars around the fire pit. This home really made our trip extra special. Thank you, Simon! We will definitely be coming back.

Great stay at the Becker Road House in the high desert

The Becker Rd House was a perfect restful and comfortable stay in the Joshua Tree area. We caught the spring in full glory of a super bloom! Simon’s quick and informative communications we’re friendly and professional. He made sure all was right for our stay. Comfy beds, spacious house, well-stocked kitchen. Perfect for a desert retreat! We’ll come back, for sure!

Great getaway near Joshua tree

This house was perfect for our getaway to Joshua tree. It was spotlessly clean, had great amenities, a super cozy vibe, and was a great place for our group to spend the night well visiting the national park.
