The house was very nice with good view of the lake, everything about the house was enjoyable. The condition of the lake and acces to the water was very difficult because of the seaweed that made it almost impossible to maneuver my pontoon boat around the docks and as far as using the kayaks that was impossible because of the seaweed that completely enclosed the entire area around the house and boat dock. This made it impossible to b able to swim or get in the water from the house and of course the prolonged condition of the water created a smell that was not pleasant, when I launched the boat at Smith boys marina they didn't charge me for the launch because of the conditions as I explained to the owner . As I write this review I hvnt heard anything back from Elizabeth ? I hv rental properties myself and access to the water and using kayaks is a large part of why I rented the property, I would hv expected the owner to do the right thing and offer some sort of break in the price because of the inability to use anything that was associated with the water in front of the house. I've never gave a bad review before but as much as conditions of the lake r not controllable by the owner, the owner realizes that the home was not able to provide what the advertisement claims in relation to water access and usabily of amenities such as kayaks and just being able to get in the water on a very hot week. The home is very nice but is also located in a very busy area so road noise applies.
