Standard Hotel, our room was close to the street which you could hear quite loud - like the Neighbour room. Area Lake George was great. Would look around for an other Hotel next time but it was okay.

We found hair in our bed, so we got a new room - which also had hair in the bed, so then we got new linens. Later we saw a stain under the toilet seat, so cleaning must have been inadequate. Also saw that our original room had been rented out again just a few hours after we had switched… I wonder if they got a chance to clean it properly in such a short time? I am not going to stay here again, if you care about cleanliness, I suggest you think twice before you do. The staff was nice and did try to make things right though by offering us new linens and a drinks credit for the bar.

I did book a basic room ( which was clean) . but I did not except to be put in a below ground ( dungeon) room with electrical construction going on out side our room. there was wires and other debris all around . Not a safe environment at all . I called to be moved and the first response was they will be done later 2nd response was that I booked the room through a 3 rd party . So they could,t do anything Smh What difference does that make ? Then They offered to me a room across the hall with made no sense or I could upgrade for a much higher rate . So disappointed with how they handle our situation. We checked out . They have not refunded my card to date . Which I should not have to pursue .So another issue I’ll will have to work on .

We stayed in a lake front suite and loved the view and nice balcony. The room was as pictured online, very nice and modern. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and thought the fess very good. Only negative was they tried to tell me only one car was allowed, despite my calling them directly to confirm my daughter would be able to park. They finally relented and gave her a permit for the underground parking. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

We do make accommodations for the initial vehicles first and then we will allow secondary vehicles if space permits. We're glad that worked out for you during your trip. I'll start with the staff is very nice except for guy at the front desk... In its hay day I'm sure this was an amazing property, but it has been seriously neglected. It's actually sad because it could be absolutely beautiful with some TLC.

1st night air did not work so we were moved to a bigger room at 10:30pm. No spots in lot. Told me to park in underground garage and maybe my suv would fit. Bigger room not updated. Mold on ceiling, stains on carpet, kitchen light blinking. Front door did not look fully closed. No happy with overall experience. Upon checkout was told they could not help me with a refund as I booked thru you. I would like compension for the inconvenience.

Lake George was amazing, me and my partner we loved. The pool was great and all the restaurants are nearby from the hotel. However, the room was no the best, the bed is old and make a lot of noise and it’s very uncomfortable. On the other hand, the tv was broken and it doesn’t have Netflix or any other streaming app. Also, the a/c make a lot of noise, we keep waking up due to the noise of the AC. Whatsoever, the experience was great l, we felt safe the whole time, staff was always nice. We would love to come back soon. However, if you looking for night activities there is very limited night life at lake George not to much to do at night.

While it is true that the property is “older” it seems that the owners try to keep it in a presentable condition. If you’re looking for the latest and the greatest , this is not a place for you. The location and the views of lake George more than make up for any shortcomings that this property has otherwise.

We found this place to be a solid value and a satisfying place to stay. My heart sank when I learned our room would be only three doors in from the road end of the building as I was concerned about road noise from the buys main drag through LG. We were on the 2nd floor so no foot steps above us. The room was very quiet and no road noise annoyed this guy who typically wakes up when I hear dust hit the floor. The bar area overlooking the water was delightful, and while $12-14 cocktails still annoy me, this was just before Labor Day in a touristy town- so par for the course. We had no service issues, nor did we encounter any exceptional service- all as expected Generally, the facilities were in great shape. I removed one star because there are two wooden staircases going to the second floor (at each end of the building we stayed in) that are in serious need of replacement. I suspect this is underway as one of them was closed off entirely. The other (by the office) is still open but unsightly and not confidence-inspiring. We were there only one night en route to elsewhere, but we would ABSOLUTELY consider staying here again if we return to the area.

It was updated and clean. It was close to walk into town. The pool bar and restaurant were great! There is lake access and you can rent paddle boards, kayaks etc.. the pool is large and heated. They are still renovating and it will be really nice when it’s finished. I will definitely stay again.

Our room was recently renovated. Everything was clean and new. We enjoyed the views of the lake right on the patio while eating dinner. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The town shops are walking distance. Really had a wonderful time and the hotel was really great.
