This is a beautiful place to stay in the Twin Lakes area. Attended a wedding in the area and the house was able to accommodate all of our needs. Host was excellent and the lake is right out your front door.

Great for large groups

The place was nice. Lots of rooms/beds available for large groups. We enjoyed being right across from the lake and watching the ice fishermen out there and also enjoyed a great fish fry at the bar a few doors down.

The owners of this property, Bill & Mary, live next door. They are wonderful, very attentive & responsive owners, yet not intrusive at all. The house is beautiful and well maintained as are the lovely gardens. We even enjoyed the resident family of sandhill cranes. When we booked the property, we were a little concerned about the lake being across the street, but it was not an issue at all. We were there during a very hot heat wave, yet mornings and evenings on the deck were quite enjoyable. The sunroom, as mentioned by others, was a highlight of the house. Even though the room was a little warmer, it was not a problem. There are two refrigerators which was a plus with 11 of us eating and drinking. The beds seemed to all have a 4" foam mattress topper, which were a little too soft for us, but others might find them to be very comfortable. We rented a pontoon boat and jet ski from Uncle Ed's at the other end of the lake. We were able to dock both at the shared pier with Bill & Mary. We felt like we had the pier to ourselves, because Bill & Mary didn't use while we were there. Don't hesitate to book this property!
