Everything from beginning to end was excellent. Place is beautiful, well taken care of and welcoming. We spent 3 days in pure winter for a big family reunion and certainly we couldn’t get best quality of service, or most beautiful place.Host was available since first moment, accessible and nice, the place was very clean, and had everything that this big family needed. Highly recommended to anyone, anytime!

This home was perfect for a family reunion. The main floor bedrooms with adjoining bathroom accomodated a handicapped brother. The spacious kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare meals. The fireplace was cozy.We ate together, played board games, and enjoyed sharing stories about growing up together. The kids enjoyed a few games of pool.

Very good location and size for large groups. Inside lighting seemed inadequate and there was a local drinking water cleanliness issue. We had a very good time.

Accommodations and pictures are as described! Plenty of space for our family of 11. Layout of the house is great & is quiet. The lake is such a pleasure & the kiddos took every advantage of using it.

Family fun!

Our extended family, ages 10 months old to sixty-five years old, enjoyed a week long stay at this beautiful lakefront home. The sunsets were amazing! We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and playing in the lake. This was our second stay at this home and we hope to return again to make more memories!

Funky Little Shack

This place was amazing. From the moment we arrived we had such a great time. The owner Daniel has everything you need at the house to have an amazing time. We fished everyday and caught Nothern Pike and Largemouth Bass. We will be booking this property for many years to come. It was everything advertised and so much more.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway for the Super Bowl!

We had a great weekend with friends watching the Super Bowl at this house! It was spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably, and we had plenty of supplies to make the stay easy and enjoyable. The host was great—responsive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a group getaway!

We've returned to the Funkie Lil Shack several years in a row now. The owner has always been helpful, and the Shack itself boasts features that our board game-playing group needs (such as PLENTY of tabletop space) that have proven surprisingly hard to find elsewhere.

Great retreat house

Our women's group had a terrific retreat. House was as described. Felt like being on a cruise ship looking out on the water. Layout of bedrooms allowed for privacy and quiet. Highly recommend.

WBHS Class of 1970 55th class reunion

This rental house is beautiful, cozy and comfortable and felt like home. There were 5 couples staying in the house, some we hadn’t seen in 50 years! This house was the perfect location for our planned activities as it was centrally located. It was also the perfect place to just relax and get caught up with everyone. One of the activities we enjoyed was a tour of Yerkes Observatory! Brought back lots of great memories! God willing, we’d love to come back for our 60th reunion!

Cleaning company needs to do a better job of looking in the cabinets. We found condiments that were opened in one of the cabinets that should have been thrown away.The house was beautiful and the kitchen dining and living room open concept was great for our group.

Girls 60 birthday weekend

It was a great location. walked to Mars for dinner and drinks. The great room view and backyard overlooked the lake. Kitchen area and table were large enough for all 10 of us to eat together and play games at the table. plenty to do in the area each day. The sunsets were lovely. Easy to find and quick drive to Lake Geneva for shopping and eating.

Great spot calm little lake

We had a great time. Water in the lake isn’t very deep. So the littles could just stand around and play in the water and with paddle boards. Really peaceful. Played golf every day a lot of courses to choose from use golf now app to find deals. Thankyou !!!

Wedding Weekend

We were joined here by our 4 adult children & their 3 spouses & 1 fiancé, along with our two grandsons for 3 nights. Our daughter & her fiancé were getting married at Boxed & Burlap…a beautiful, nearby wedding venue. The large living, dining, & kitchen were spacious, allowing us to gather together to eat, play games and just enjoy being together. Dan allowed a late checkout on Sunday which we greatly appreciated after a late night of celebration. Would definitely recommend for a large family!

Guys Getaway Weekend

The lake house was a perfect destination for a long guys weekend. The house is massive and there was more than enough room for 9 guys to stay comfortably. We played card games on the poker table, used the grill (a lot) and very large kitchen space, and watched March Madness all weekend. The house is equipped with everything that you need and more for a great weekend during anytime of the year. The Lake Geneva down town area is only a short drive away too which was fun to check out. Would love to come back in the summer time for another long weekend!
