Not 5 bedrooms - only 4

The house was good for housing business colleagues for a retreat held nearby. But the listing describing five bedrooms is not accurate - there are 4 bedrooms, and a large space in-between two bedrooms upstairs with extra beds but no door. This is not a separate bedroom. The five adult professionals (unrelated) who were staying at the house were disappointed and shocked when the house had been billed as 5 bedrooms. The coffee maker also had no carafe for making coffee. Otherwise, the home was clean and served its purpose in providing lodging during the evening as the rest of the days were spent at a retreat off-site. The set up might be ok for people who are related or in the same family -- but there are NOT 5 bedrooms. This should be advertised as 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, with open room with extra beds.

Quiet home in convenient location

This home was perfect for our family with enough rooms for everyone to have their own space. It was in a quiet neighborhood wirh easy access to a beach, a grocery store and the Polynesian Cultural Center. The cookware could use updating and it needed washing before we used it. The biggest downfall of this house was the long list of rules to follow from how often to sweep the floor to how to throw out the garbage. It made it feel less like a vacation.

Perfect Home Away From Home!

This home was perfect to accommodate our family for our visit to Laie for my grandson’s graduation from BYU-Hawaii. The campus is a 5-minute walk away. The PCC is just a 10-minute walk or very short drive away. Temple Beach is a 5-minute walk away (beach towels provided!). Turtle Bay is a 15-minute drive away. The home is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The layout is perfect for families - my grandkids loved the upstairs bunk bedroom! Each room has its own AC unit for individual comfort. The family room - kitchen area is perfect for family meals and activities. Our host, Kathryn, was very helpful and very pleasant. Checking in and out was a breeze! I would rent this home again! 😊

Great family home!

Great location for walking to beaches, PCC, and food! A short drive to north shore. Plenty of parking in awesome neighborhood. The house was comfortable for a family of 12, including an infant and 3 kids. Clean!

Great option to sleep 12 comfortably

We had a great stay, we had 12 people in our party and everyone slept comfortably, kitchen was well stocked and loved the detailed labels on everything in the house :) Great location as well

Beach days and perfect nights in Laie

To be honest, the place is better than it looks on pictures. Our 30th birthday celebration group enjoyed both lanais, the proximity (by car) to oh-so-many gorgeous beaches, the perfect weather and the easy check in and check out! Super well equipped also. Thank you!

Good family place

There were 12 of us, 7 adults and 5 children! Everyone enjoyed the air conditioning! We had plenty of room! Enjoyed the beach equipment! Nice walking distance to the beach! Beds were comfortable! Mahalo!

Ohana means Family

We gathered here for a family reunion of 10. The north shore of Oahu did not disappoint. We ziplined, snorkeled, LOVED the Polynesian Cultural Center and Laie Lds Temple Visitors center. So much to enjoy most within walking distance. This home was very clean, very comfortable and a great place to gather. They had the equipment we needed for the beach time. It is air conditioned and the ceiling fans help too. Everything was adequate and plenty of beds to sleep on. Yes there are chickens and roosters all around but they minded there own business. We felt very welcome and part of the local scene. The landlords were very attentive and friendly. Would stay here again!

Great property

This worked great for our family of 9. We loved the location and being able to walk around the temple grounds each day. Options and hours of dining options in the vicinity were a bit limited. We would stay again!

Perfect - Seriously it was perfect!

I have 10 kids and one is married so when the family gathers it can be a daunting challenge to house all 13 of us. This home not only took us all in it provided the privacy necessary when it was wanted. The gathering spaces were perfect for A larger group and the distribution of rooms and spaces never once made us feel crowded or that we didn’t have enough room. The Air Conditioning was placed where it was needed and it works well. Not a single complaint about being too hot or cold! It was close to everything we wanted to do and honestly created experiences because of the location to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple just a few blocks away. We were comfortable and safe and allowed the kids to come and go as they pleased. In addition to the temple they walked to the beach and the store and to BYU Hawaii. It was honestly perfect for what we needed and definitely better than any other option available. The house was clean and well maintained. I imagine this is difficult to do on a consistent basis as large groups do “use” things differently than a small group or a couple. So my hat is off to whomever maintains the property because they are doing an amazing job. I would absolutely rent this house again and will probably do so the next time we visit Laie!

Filthy Disgusting Home

We arrived to this home and all of the sheets were dirty with sand hair and dirt in them. The floors were sandy. The refrigerator was full of food and so dirty. The toilets had pubic hair. The neighborhood has a bunch of run down buildings nearby. The dryer was broken. The BBQ was more filthy than any BBQ you have ever seen before. We had sweep the floors, wash the refrigerator, clean the BBQ, hang dry our clothes. We needed to have the property manager put new sheets on all the beds. I would like my cleaning deposit back because it’s obvious they didn’t clean the home.

Great house in perfect North Shore location

This house was the perfect fit for our group. Plenty of beds, large living space, and nice kitchen that fit our needs. It was in the perfect central location on the North shore so we could walk to the store, parks, the beach and just short drive to countless more incredible beaches. We loved our stay!

Low-key comfortable home

Great location, close to PCC, BYUH, beach, north shore, etc. Property felt comfortable and homey. Well equipped, but not fancy. Everyone was thrilled with the lodging and location.
