We stayed in Unit A. The unit was nice but a bit small for the price in my opinion. The only views of the ocean are seen in the common area, the living room & kitchen. The master bedroom does not have any ocean views and there is nowhere to put your clothes. There were about 5 hangers in the closet mostly metal hangers but other than that we had to live out of our suitcase. Our unit did not have a dining table or fireplace. We ate all of our meals on the table outside, which was fine. The loft is upstairs and has 2 double beds, still nowhere to place your clothes. My husband and I stayed on the loft because I wanted to sleep to the sound of the ocean(this is the main reason I rent ocean front homes). The detached room is cute. It has a small window that opens so you can listen to the waves. I wouldn’t let my children stay by themselves , That room I think it’s better for a couple, and still nowhere to unpack. The beach was beautiful and the ocean was breathtaking. The condo is located in a great location. Very close to everything. Laguna Beach is very beautiful a lot of things to do. I enjoyed the option of the concierge service. We celebrated my 50th birthday and the house was decorated upon my arrival. That was very nice. We also enjoyed the ping pong table on the front porch. We did play a few games. Overall, like one of the previous reviews stated, “No Frills”, but a beautiful ocean, peaceful and access to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Beach front vaxation

South Laguna getaway

The accommodations are like a rustic beach cottage. Location is excellent! Being right in the beach, which was quiet and private, was the best part. We were a family of 4 with grown (over 21) kids and it works well for our needs. Host was very responsive to all questions and attended to all requests in a timely manner.

Great location

It got better . First impression was not the greatest as our unit A was very hot. Some window treatment could make a huge difference when the sun comes in the afternoon . Loved the access to the beach and views. A few improvements could make this a 5 star rental.

Second Stay

We had an amazing second stay at this VRBO property! Communication with the rental property owner was great. The beach access is unbeatable, and we loved having beach towels and toys readily available. The kitchen is well-stocked, making meal prep a breeze, and the new ping pong table added extra fun to our evenings. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing location!

The location of this home was incredible- Right on the beach with beautiful views (I have the best photos!) and access to what felt like a private cove. It was fun to spot dolphins swimming by. We enjoyed the easy walk to a few nearby restaurants (Papa's Tacos, NEApolitan Pizza, Coyote Grill) and a donut shop (South Swell Donuts).

Amazing location

Wonderful views and extremely responsive property management!!! The beach is wonderfully private and you can hear waves breaking from any room of the house. Great location and amble outdoor space. We paid for a view, that’s all.

The property was very uncomfortable, kitchen utensils were dirty (I documented everything with pictures), the couch is not for sitting on. Everything in the property is old and not up to safety code. The beach is supposed to be private but the first day we had some people playing loud Mexican (with speakers) music the whole day. The beach was not clean, there was a lot of old garbage under the stairs, there was also a used needle. We did not go back to the beach after that. The management company has different information/check in times, not at all professional. This was a nightmare.

Great house and will stay again

Great property with private access to the beach and convenient location to the free trolley. The house gave a great first impression with the flowering tree, palms, tropical gardens, and secluded front courtyard. The inside of the house was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The back deck and beach access were the highlight of our stay. Plenty of seating on the deck with amazing views of the ocean. The stairs to the beach were well maintained. The property does have beach mats and some beach toys available. Only recommendation for improvement is to provide more guest bathroom and beach towels. Thank you and we will definitely stay here again.

Steps to sand

Stay was as expected. Everyday trips to the sand and rides in the Trolley into town. The location is perfect and on one of the more private beaches of Laguna.

We were back visiting friends in an area we used to live. The house was in a perfect location to get to where we needed to go while enjoying Laguna Beach. The house was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. We had so much fun exploring the private beach! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect beach vacation getaway home.

What a spectacular location! Located between 1000 Steps Beach and Aliso Beach (two popular beaches), this home has access to a cove that makes it feel like a private, exclusive beach. Home has private access to the beach down a set of stairs. They included beach chairs and sandcastle building tools for the kiddos that made enjoying the beach instant instead of trying to track everything down. If you're not up for so much sand, the patio has great seating and space to enjoy the view and amazing weather. We'll rebook!
