Wow! We had an amazing stay, so private yet the pool was maintained throughout during mornings which was a massive plus and the cleaners were more than happy to help. Great location as Lagos is so close via car/taxi - no complaints, would love to return!

Fantastisk- meget velholdt og præsentabelt villa med alt hvad der behøves for at få et godt ophold. Indtjekning og afrejse meget nemt. Rengøringen er helt i top - vi fik rengøring 3 gange på 10 dage!Omgivelserne er rolige og giver mulighed for afslapning ved poolen.

Beautiful villa just outside of Lagos

We had the most incredible stay at this villa, it was nicely located just outside of Lagos so it was super easy to get into town and be able to explore, but also nicely secluded so we could unwind and enjoy the beautiful pool, and scenic views. The host was wonderful and helped us with any questions/issues we had, highly recommend you stay here!

Belle ballade en bateau pour visiter les grottes de Lagos à 5mn du logement. Sortie en Buggy dans l’algarve vraiment sympa.

We love it. Great cottage, like home feeling. County location but close to Lagos, great big pool.

Owner gave lots of effort to make us feel like home. Great huge lot-garden, very well maintained, next time we’ll stay much longer.

Quiet and relaxing getaway

The property is in a quiet area just outside of town and was extremely relaxing. The villa is cosy rather than modern, but the pool and outside areas are fantastic. Eduardo and his wife were very helpful. We'd definitely recommend this place for a relaxing break near a beautiful town.

Perfect holiday

Perfect from the moment we arrived. A Friendly welcome, beautiful gardens and pool area great for outside living. Villa is clean, homely with all amenities needed. Peaceful location but only a 5 min drive to Lagos. We had a fantastic time thank you and definitely would return.

Das Haus und Grundstück war groß genug. Der Service war sehr gut und unauffällig bzw. unaufdringlich jedoch jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen auch gerne wieder.

Fijne vakantie in een fijn huis

We hadden een fijn verblijf. Een tip voor de schoonmakers: er zaten veel spinnenwebben langs plafond in de slaapkamer. Verder hadden we last van de honden die de hele nacht en dag blaften. Hier kan de eigenaar overigens niets aan doen. Het huis was superfijn!

Beautiful, private, tropical retreat!

Gorgeous gardens, nice pool, comfortable cozy house with all amenities. Only suggestion is for the owners to talk to the neighbors about their barking dogs. No one likes to listen to dogs barking all day and all night!

Wonderful holiday

The outside space of this villa is beautiful, causing us to change our plans for eating out every day to staying in and using the BBQ area and outside seating, of course we did go out and I would advice people to download the Uber app beforehand as the service is amazing and very cheap. The villa was lovely much better than the photos show, very cosy although I have to say we didn’t stay indoors very much but made the most of the beautiful pool area, the BBQ area and the lovely comfortable seating area. Eduardo the owner was so helpful with any queries we had, on our fourth day we asked for an extra clothes airer so we could do some washing and it was delivered almost immediately, really great service. I would recommend this villa, and do intend to go back again one day

Haus mit schönem Garten und Grillbereich

Wir (2 Erw./1 Teenager) haben ein paar Tage im Casa Paula verbracht. Die Gartenanlage mit dem Grillplatz ist wirklich toll und der Pool schön gross. Den Aussenbereich haben wir nach Ausflügen sehr genossen. Das Haus ist grosszügig und die Betten gross und bequem. Klimaanlage in jedem Raum. Das Reinigungspersonal kam zwischendurch und war sehr freundlich. Kommunikation und Check-In war unkompliziert. Innen wirkt das Haus eher dunkel und leider riecht es aus allen Schubladen muffig. Hier wäre eine Renovation vielleicht nicht schlecht. Die Umgebung an sich war jetzt nicht super, aber 5' mit dem Auto von Lagos. Leider müssen auch wir das Hundegebell erwähnen. Schade, der Vermieter kann natürlich nicht viel dagegen tun, aber es ist halt so, dass die Hunde jeden Abend bellen.

Unbelievable property and location, hope to return!

The villa was absolutely wonderful. The rooms, and the grounds are gorgeous, and the pool fantastic. It's a quiet area, so you hear bird song as you lounge by the pool, but there's a little shop and a restaurant (which is amazing!) within ten mins walk, and it's half an hour walk to the edge of Lagos where there's a Lidl, and then loads of restaurants and bars and everything you'd expect. The weather in the second half of May was perfect - MUCH hotter than BBC weather indicated (more like 30c than the 19 we thought we might encounter)! The cleaners came only as often as we wanted them to, but I think they'd have come by every day if we'd asked! Someone stopped by a couple of times a week to clean the pool, and tend the garden. I would very strongly recommend you ask the host for the address if the villa, as the directions provided are.. a little challenging, shall we say (he said that GPS isn't very good at finding the location, but Google Maps does a fine job from plotting a route from Faro airport to the villa address, if you have it). While we there, the aircon in the double room didn't work (it blew air, but it wasn't chilled), which was OK for my partner and I as we had the place to ourselves! I'm sure that the host will sort it out, and likely would have done so while we were there if we hadn't said that we were fine using the twin room (where the aircon was delightfully cool)! We took so many photos of the place during our stay, because it was just so beautiful!

Amazing place

The villa is perfect for families to relax in the Lagos area. Only a couple of minutes away from the city centre and beach, close to supermarkets. The villa is spacious, the garden is very large, and the same applies to the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. I can absolutely recommend this to everyone!

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Fijn huis, mooie buitenkeuken, prachtige tuin. Veel ruimte en hoekjes om het huis, waar je kunt zitten. En mooi zwembad. Kortom, helemaal top.

Excellent & super hospitality

What a great stay we had at Casa Paula I. We (my partner and I) were given a super friendly and hospitable welcome by Dana. Upon arrival, the whole accommodation was super clean and tidy. Lovely 'coming home'. We were surprised, as the pictures on the website are less than reality as far as we are concerned. What we also failed to make out correctly is that there are three Casa Paula's. I.e., you could also go there with a couple of families. The only thing that was less during our period was the weather, but no one had any control over that. We would love to come back again and will definitely recommend it to our friends as well. You have a lot of privacy, it is just outside Lagos and for us, that is fine. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Traumhaft!

Sehr schönes Haus, etwas außerhalb von Lagos. Ruhige Umgebung, angrenzend an Landwirtschaftszone. Mit dem Auto alles gut erreichbar. (Lagos, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strand, Zoo) Objekt ist sehr gepflegt, schöner Garten, toller Pool. Jeden Morgen kam der Gärtner kurz vorbei und hat die Abfalltonne geleert und zum rechten geschaut. Sehr freundlich und diskret. Zweimal kam die Housekeeperin, Dana. Super freundlich, hat frische Tücher gebracht, Betten gemacht und gereinigt. Auch die Übergabe / Abgabe völlig unkompliziert, Eduardo ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

A relaxing haven

We had a very easy rental process. One payment in July, then final payment when we arrived. Good communication with the owner who was very helpful when we were side swiped in a hit and run accident and needed to replace our rental. Rules of.the house were clear and everything was in good order. The garden was magical. Gardeners were unobtrusive and respected our privacy. Highly recommend this property.
