Location is equidistant to beach, grocery store and the town. Its a walk to any. The building was very uninhabited while I was there. There is significant construction noise from projects next door and across the street

Spacious and comfortable. Great bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Overall needed an upgrade on furniture, bed linen and balcony furniture. Would also benifit from a smart TV. Excellent comunication with owner. If my concerns were raken care of I feel this appartment would rent for far more.

First trip to Portugal - Great Condo!

We had a great stay in Lagos! The condo we rented was excellent! It was supplied with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The weather was too cold to use the pool but it was very inviting looking. The beach was very close and Old Lagos was amazing!

Great apartment!

Location is amazing. It is within a few minutes walk to the beach and broadwalk. It is also close to the Marina, the bus terminal, the train terminal, and Lagos historical center. The nights were very quiet. Days just had normal daytime noises but nothing overly noisy. We were there for two months during January and February. We appreciated that there were additional blankets and towels for our use. The patio that runs the length of the living room and one bedroom is in full sun, which was very nice during these winter months. The second bedroom has a patio that has sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon, which was also very nice. The kitchen is well appointed and we were able to cook most of our meals during our stay. Should be noted that the apartment is within walking distance to a grocery store. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning next year. Thank you, Carl!

Perfect place for a visit to Lagos!

Great spacious apartment for our family of 5 adults. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and bedding. Lovely balconies and fab in built BBQ Comfortable living and dining area. Short walk across the harbour to the old town, lots of restaurants, not so many bars but cute, quaint streets with a friendly vibe. The pool area was great, (pool was a tad cold for me, early September, but nice to sit by and enjoy a drink) Carl was very quick to respond to any queries and sent helpful messages re the apartment prior to arrival. A lovely bottle of wine and water were left for us on arrival which was a lovely welcome ☺️ The area felt safe and apartment homely, i would certainly recommend. Thank you for having us! ☺️

Tolle Lage

Wir hatten wunderbare 5 Wochen in Carls Wohnung, man kann fast rundum das Meer sehen und oft hört man es auch nachts. In die Stadt und zur Marina ist es nicht weit. Carl war ein sehr bemühter Gastgeber und obwohl die Wohnung manche Renovierungen brauchen könnte, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Fully equipped and well-placed condo

A fully equipped condo (a little dated but clean and functional) that is walking distance to everything in Lagos. Great base for a vacation, and a large grocery store is right nearby. Loved the deck and built-in charcoal grill (but it would be great if charcoal was on-hand... I left half a bag for the next guests!).

2 weeks fabulous stay in Lagos, The apartment was very clean and spacious and a great location close to the marina, the on-site restaurant Matilde is very good and run by a friendly couple. Lots of choices in Lagos for restaurants and daytime activities.

What a trip ! An amazing month in Lagos

Carl répond rapidement et avec exactitude ce qui m'a mis tout de suite en confiance. Le condo est très bien situé à quelques minutes de la plage et de la Marina tout en étant suffisamment éloigné du bruit de la vieille ville. Nous avons eu accès à tout l'équipement nécessaire au condo et n'avons manqué de rien. Il y fait toujours frais même si la température "au sol" est élevé. Un superbe mois de mai au soleil de l'Algarve. Je recommande entièrement. Carl responds quickly and accurately which immediately put me at ease. The condo is very well located a few minutes from the beach and the Marina while being far enough from the noise of the old town. We had access to all the necessary equipment at the condo and lacked nothing. It is always cool there even if the temperature "on the ground" is high. A superb month of May in the Algarve sun. I fully recommend.

Excellent peaceful location

The Apartment/Condo is in excellent condition, very well equipped and with great views. The only noise is from the waves crashing on the beach at night, two fabulous balconies, we were at the end of the complex so open at side with uninterrupted views. Minutes to walk into Marina and Town, with both the train and bus stations on your doorstep. Wifi was very good and TV has many English Channels. Complex was clean and secure, lift to all floors, secure underground parking if needed. Good communication with Carl the owner. Would not hesitate to recommend this homely, comfortable, very large, home from home. The beach at side of apartment is a huge sandy stretch and very clean. We were on a 10 week winter rental - reluctantly due to Coronavirus Pandemic and flights being cancelled, had to leave a week early. Found Lagos to be a very friendly large town, plenty of supermarkets, bars, cafes & restaurants. We found a particular great bar in town 'The Star' always a friendly welcome with themed nights, loved our Quiz nights and Classic Rock nights. Bob & Carole Staffordshire UK

Disappointing property, listing misleading. Due

A dated, tired & jaded property, misleading listing due to the photos of the property being from some time ago. (Fewest images are of the property) Intermittent hot water, pilot light on boiler kept going out. Kettle, microwave & toaster only worked if a kitchen light was on (as per one of the many countless notes on the wall) Air conditioning could not be used at night in one of the rooms due to the noise levels Towels provided were old & shabby Balcony furniture was old, rusty & torn Washing machine did not work, (door removed by a repair man who never returned) Dishwasher worked once during our stay No hairdryer. The pool area was good, as was the on site restaurant. (We moved from the property due safety concerns regarding smell of gas from the boiler as well soot around pilot light vent hole). Owner failed to answer the issues we raised.

Fabulous holiday in Lagos!

We had a great time at Carl's apartment in Lagos which is well equipped and in a fabulous location. The apartment is situated on a fairly small complex with two good swimming pools which were meticulously clean, a snack bar, mini golf and 24 hour security - the security staff were really helpful and friendly. From the minute we booked this holiday Carl was in contact with us to provide helpful hints and tips to ensure we had a great trip. He helped us book a taxi transfer from Faro airport and provided some really useful information on what to do and where to go during our stay. Lagos itself is a lovely destination for a holiday - there's so much to do including endless water sports/activities; boat trips, dolphin watching, beautiful beaches and the town has a wonderful historical centre. We hope to return very shortly and our thanks again to Carl!

Beautiful views!

Great location.. loved walking to both the beach and marina. Quiet complex .. nice enough to enjoy the pool too. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. We couldn't have picked a better place. Ample parking as well.. thank you Carl We shall visit again! Obrigada 😊 until next time

Something special

Well what can I say,my partner and I stayed in Carl’s apartment for a month we have just returned home,we loved everything from the moment we stepped into the apartment,on arrival there was a bag left for us with bits and bobs in and a bottle of wine I thought that was very thoughtful and a nice touch,the apartment was lovely there was nothing I could think of that was not in the apartment Carl had thought of everything even getting in touch with us half way through our holiday asking if everything was ok.The apartment was central to everywhere,beaches ,shops,marine,restaurants,railway station,buses etc,thank you again Carl for a holiday we will never forget.
