The home was absolutely wonderful. It was as nice, if not nicer, than the pictures. Miguel was amazingly responsive - prompt, super accommodating & genuinely concerned about our comfort. The kitchen was extremely well equipped & it was clear Miguel gave a great deal of thought to every little detail throughout the entire home. If we are fortunate enough to return to Luz, we would love to stay in the home for a longer visit.

We loved our stay at Villa Zinha. The villa was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We found the location ideal for day trips to other areas in the Algarve. When not visiting the nearby areas, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the beautiful property and pool. The views are quite special!

Amazing property with exceptional amenities and outstanding location. We stayed for 2 weeks and wish it could have been longer. Beautiful Village of Luz is walking distance . All of Miguel's recommendation's were outstanding , including Chef Roberto who came to the property to cook 1 night . Loved the modern kitchen and outdoor grill . Luz is only 10 min from Lagos , which has plenty of shopping and additional restaurants. Hope we can return here in years to come.

Great location and host

This was our first visit to the Algarve and were fortunate to have our entire family join (two young adults in their 20s). The property is pretty much as described and shown in the photos and thus no surprises. Great views with particularly amazing sunrises. Good sized rooms, each with ensuites and pretty comfortable beds. Plenty of towels, easy to connect to sound system etc. The location is great. Miguel, the host, has a great guide to the area and was most responsive to any questions. Our son took off early each day to surf the West Coast (about 1/2 hr drive) and on the days we joined, we hiked along the stunning beaches or above them on the cliffs. Supply wise, the kitchen has plenty of everything from plates to coffee mugs. We only had breakfast and enjoyed a number of excellent restaurants directly in Luz and the surrounding area. In short, highly recommend.

Stunning property with all the conveniences

We loved our stay at the Villa Luz. It is beautiful from the infinity pool overlooking the sea to the front courtyard full of flowers. We loved walking along the water for a cliff hike in one direction and for a ~10-min walk to town in the other direction. We were impressed at how clean and well equipped the house was, too - Miguel was also kind enough to buy brand new toys, plates/cups/utensils, and potty/changing table/etc. for the little one (for a very small fee). When we had a very small issue (not impacting our stay), Miguel and his property manager were very responsive and sent out a handyman the same day. In general, Miguel went above and beyond to make our stay perfect: he has an online guidebook with local info and instructions for the property (making check-in/check-out very easy), and he connected us with a masseuse, photographer, and chef for a cooking lesson at home—all fabulous! Highly recommend and we would all love to come back. Thank you, Miguel!

Family Reunion

The property was comfortable, clean, and ideal for a group of seven adults. Property management was extremely helpful and accommodating with ancillary services such as car rental, dining, and daily requirements/questions. Unfortunately, the noise level from neighboring properties into the early morning was quite disruptive.

Peaceful beach getaway

Beautiful quiet home with great pool and ocean views. Four bedroon/bathroomm combinations gave everyone plenty of room and privacy. Within walking distance from town and a selelction of nice places to eat and drink. Generous gated driveway and lovely landscaping top off an already excellent property. We all loved it!

Beautiful villa amazing view great location

The Vila’s is located just in front the sea line . The villa contains 4 big suits and large living room and and well equipped kitchen. The garden is beautiful and the nice swimming pool was warmed and inviting . The view from the house is amazing overlooking the ocean and the cliffs around . The host was very friendly and cooperative . For us it was a wonderful vacation and we hope to enjoy it again in the future .

Beautiful spacious ocean front home in Luz

This house is perfectly located directly on the ocean in Luz. It has complete privacy while still being a very short walk easy into the beautiful town of Luz. We hiked to Lagos and other adjacent beach towns over amazing mountain ocean cliffs each morning. You could easily enjoy your time at the pool, gazing out into the ocean, but there are also so many amazing very beautiful beaches, and other towns nearby for perfect adventures. We chartered a private yacht for an all day Excursion, to see the miles of coast and beautiful beaches from the water. Breathtaking day trip. This house is beautiful, perfectly private, for a group of friends / family and we would absolutely stay here again. The house Kitchen and pool area are very well equipped and you could easily stay in for the evening. Thank you very much to the extremely kind and responsive Host.

Unparalleled views

It’s a very comfortable villa with beautiful ocean views. We relaxed outdoors, lounging by the pool. We enjoyed ping pong and foosball while sipping wine. The owners were very responsive. We had a heated pool which was really welcome in April. Grocery store is 3-5 min drive. In front of the villa there is a gravel road into town 5 min walk to crepes/ice cream place, several restaurants, sandy beach. If you walk in the opposite direction it’s a beautiful hiking trail along a rugged rocky beach terrain. Luz is a very small town but has a sandy beach and restaurants right in front of the beach. Lagos is 15 min away drive if one wants more shopping and food variety. Lagos has a large marina, where we reserved a boat tour of the coastline. 30min drive is the infamous Sagres, the most southwest point of Europe, beautiful and windy, have layers ready for that trip. Villa itself had spacious area to hangout inside, everything we needed in the kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms and each has an en-suite bathroom which was very convenient. I would recommend this villa for a relaxing vacation by the sea.

A little below expectations

We had a satisfactory stay in the home, but had property management issues that kept it from being better: 1) a fuse was out so the lights in the foyer were completely out for our entire stay, even days after we reported the issue 2) multiple lights out on the property (wall sconces inside and out) 3) Clothes dryer did not heat, as a result, drying clothes was impossible 4) grounds were not particularly well maintained

Simply Perfection

This is a great property and location. Perfect view and spacious accommodations. Miguel was very helpful and attentive. We were the first rental of the season so the house had a few issues that were quickly resolved by Miguel. Stay here if you really want to feel away from it all with a great view and hear the sound of the ocean!

Extraordinary Experience!

What else can you say about that view??? After 10 days of aggressively touring Portugal from top to bottom we were thrilled to land at the beautiful Villa! The views and pool are so relaxing we didn’t want to go anywhere else! The kitchen is extremely well appointed and we cooked many fabulous meals there. Mostly we just enjoyed the house and it’s surroundings and felt very grateful for it!

Beautiful seaside villa 10 min walk from beach and restaurants

We were a party of four in this spacious villa with four bedrooms and plenty of room for at least eight guests. Beautiful view of the ocean and a nice pool with outdoor shower to cool down on sunny days. We slept well in the rooms were you could easily adjust the temperature with AC, curtains etc. Luz is a beautiful seaside resort with some nice restaurants and two beaches - one were you can find all service you want. There are food stores within walking distance in Luz, but we made most of our shopping in Lagos were there is a nice sea food market and a couple of large supermarkets. The kitchen is quite well equipped but we wished there had been more thin glasses for fine wine and there were no propane for the barbecue but we had to order/buy it. Overall it is a very good place to spend a relaxing holiday with friends or family!
