More than just a place to sleep during your holidays, this is a genuine space, decorated with my antique family furniture and attention to detail, designed to offer an experience that leaves happy and lasting memories for our valued guests.
This is a space with history, just like the city of Lagos.

🌟The apartment was renovated in 2026, now featuring a new, beautiful kitchen and bathroom, along with other comfort upgrades.

🔹Located near the large golden-sand Meia Praia beach, very close to the supermarket and several traditional Algarve restaurants, fresh fish and seafood eateries, and pizzerias. On the main avenue by the river and Lagos Marina. Very close to everything, yet always peaceful.

🔹Next to a typical restaurant and cafés. The historic centre of Lagos, with many restaurants, shops, the traditional fresh fish and fruit market, and outdoor terraces, is less than 5 minutes’ walk.

🔹Close to the beaches: around 10 minutes’ walk. A pleasant short walk along Lagos Marina and the riverside avenue.

🔹The apartment features a balcony with tables and chairs for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. Free street parking is available nearby.

A short walk to the famous Meia Praia beach, a large golden sandy beach stretching about 5 km, and the beautiful Praia da Batata beach with lovely rocks and sand.

► ⛵️ Lagos Marina
Located across the small river, less than 5 minutes’ walk towards Meia Praia beach.
Many boat trips (to Ponta da Piedade or dolphin watching) and kayaking adventures depart from Lagos Marina or Praia da Batata.

► 🍽️🍰 Restaurants, Traditional Markets, Regional Sweets and Artisan Gelato
· Next to the apartment, on the main avenue by the river, at the marina and on the way to the historic centre, there are several restaurants serving typical Algarvian and Portuguese cuisine.
· Right next to the apartment, there is a large traditional Portuguese restaurant, pizzerias, a takeaway with Portuguese food, and several cafés. Nearby, there is also a good fresh seafood restaurant.
· On your short walk to the old town, you will also find the traditional Lagos Market with fresh fish and fruit.
· Just 3 minutes on foot, on two days of the week, there are two Markets of Traditional Products from regional producers, next to the Bus Terminal.

► 🍰🍦 Regional Sweets & Artisan Gelato
You can also visit my family’s bakery “Taquelim Gonçalves” in downtown Lagos, with delicious traditional Algarve cakes (since 1935) and artisan ice creams (since 1964) in the historic centre. It was founded by my grandparents in 1935. They started making the famous Dom Rodrigo cake, now the most famous sweet in the Algarve. 😋

► 🛒 Supermarkets
One supermarket 6 minutes’ walk (550 metres), plus mini-markets (2 min. walk) and portuguese takeaway food shop nearby. You can buy fresh bread and Portuguese food for home. Very convenient!

► 🚗🚌🚴🏻‍♂️
You can enjoy other beautiful and famous beaches and the stunning views of the beautiful Ponta da Piedade, 10 minutes by car, local bus, or tourist train along the main avenue by the river, or by bike or scooter. Electric or traditional bikes can be rented right next to the apartment.
