Luz and this villa a perfect combo!

Really nice spacious villa with lots of outdoor relaxing space. Loved being able to walk to the beach and the lovely town of Luz. Highly recommend.

Fabulous vacation rental

Absolutely gorgeous, authentic garden beach home. All amenities as advertised. We had a wonderfully relaxing experience steps from the beach, cliff-side hiking/running trails, and the picture perfect town of Luz. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and I dare say Casa da Figueira was our favorite.

Another perfect week at Casa Figuera

Our fourth family trip to this perfect holiday oasis. It’s beautiful, near the beach and all amenities. Amelia is simply the best housekeeper, discreet and so helpful if needed and the Casa is kept in perfect order. It’s very rare you will find something so special you keep returning, but, for us, this is the place.

Paradise!

This is an amazing property. The kind you are truly sad to leave. We enjoyed the pool and grounds, and the proximity to great restaurants and the beach. Communication before and during the stay was excellent. Helpful guides and instructions inside the house made our stay effortless.

Stunning

Our family stayed here for a week and had a truly amazing stay. The property was incredible gardens amazing and totally self contained we really did not want to leave. Amelia was a gem and a jewel we all loved the villa so much already planning our return.Sophie was super responsive and very informative responding very quickly to any questions. We have all left our hearts at Casa da Figueira ❤️

Wonderful villa in Luz

Casa de Figueria was perfect. I only wish we had more than 3 days bc enjoy it. Plenty of room for me, my wife, two boys, and 80 yr old dad. Garden and lemon trees were great. I paid extra for pool heating and that was a great choice. The kids stayed in the pool for hours (the air temp was a tad chilly - low 60s but the water was plenty warm). We stayed on the weekend so only met Amelia at check out on Monday morning. But the place was immaculate on arrival and we managed just fine doing our own laundry. Oh - the garage space for a rental car was good to have as well. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, and supermarkets.

We spent 9 wonderful days at Casa da Figueira in April. The time went by much too quickly.The villa, the gardens, the location were all beyond our expectations. Amelia’s presence was wonderful. We would return without a doubt.

Fabulous property

This is an amazing villa in the beautiful touristic town of Praia da Luz. The house is super charming and the gardens are beautiful. There is a ton of space and everything is kept in great condition. Amelia is the housekeeper and she comes daily to clean and take care of the house. She is super nice and is there to help with anything needed. The location is prime with only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, cafes, etc. I absolutely recommend booking this property if you are lucky to find it available. Next time I am booking a longer stay here... two days are definitely not enough to enjoy it!

Fantastic in every way!

The property is remarkable- perfect location, beautifully maintained gardens, and an amazingly helpful housekeeper. We went over Thanksgiving week and the town of Luz (5 minute walk from house) was ideal - many open restaurants but no crowds. Everyone in our family wants to return.

A vacation from our vacation!

What a beautiful stay! The villa was very large with lots of outdoor seating options. Pool was great, heated just enough to take the chill off. A short walk to the beach and restaurants. Very well-equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ. Beautiful gardens. We highly recommend!

Most incredible vacation rental ever

This rental must be seen to really absorb what an incredible property it is. My 20- something son and daughter are still gushing over it, as are we. The grounds are filled with walkways and beautiful gardens, lime trees, flowers galore, and so much space and privacy. It looks like a beautiful painting so we all took many photos while there just to capture the colors and design of it all. The bedrooms are enormous, pool is pristine and heated if you choose, there is a large amount of outdoor furniture to enjoy family meals outside as well as padded lounge chairs for reading and relaxing after a swim. We just could not get over the huge new kitchen and all the books to choose from. In short, this is paradise. I hope to get back to Algarve so we can stay here again. There is simply nothing that compares and we have rented many properties for trips as a family. The owner is available to communicate with at all times and the housekeeper Amelia does all of your laundry and dishes for you. I could go on and on. This is heaven. Highly recommend.

Wonderful villa in a great location

We had a wonderful holiday here, the villa is spacious, beautiful gardens, great pool and spotlessly clean, thanks to Amelia. The villa is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. We recieved great instructions before our visit, access was easy and Amelia helped us with any queries during our stay. Cleaning each week day was thorough but discreet. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Superb spacious traditional villa ideally located

Located just a short walk to the beach, the villa is set in lovely mature gardens with a generous swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Three spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of scope for our larger family of adults to eat inside or out, games and films provided and nothing missed. All immaculately maintained by an attentive and helpful maid who visits all weekdays. Perfect for us!

Beautiful Luz Home and Pool!!!

My family and I stayed at Casa da Figueira recently for 5 nights and we had a wonderful experience. The home is well located near the Praia da Luz (a 5 - 10 minute walk) as well as near many restaurants and shops in the charming (and less crowded!) beach town of Luz. Amelia, the on site housekeeper, took wonderful care of doing our laundry, making the beds, and generally making our stay memorable. The pictures of the home are very accurate, and the pool and grounds are impressive and very well maintained. We ate out every lunch and dinner, so we only used the well stocked kitchen for breakfast and feeding our 8 month old granddaughter (high chair and crib available). We would highly recommend Casa da Figueira for families and/or couples who want a relaxing vacation escape close to a beach with a wonderful pool as well as beautiful grounds and landscaping. Casa da Figueira is truly a paradise found in the Algarve.

Absolutely Beautiful Property

Where do I start.....this property is amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. The entire place inside and out was spotless, old world charm. The pool area was immaculate and much needed after a long day of exploring. What a treat to pick fresh lemons from the lemon trees right outside the kitchen and bbq in the outdoor grill. Amelia was a delight and took very good care of us. She was lovely! The property is very private, and is a short walk to the beach and numerous restaurants. We have been to many VRBO properties and Sophie is by far the best host we have had. Welcoming, clear property instructions and quick to answer any emails or questions we had. Praia da Luz is a must see and wouldn't be complete without a stay at this spectacular property!!!! Thank you from our group of 6 for making this a very memorable vacation!!

Relaxation

This villa is beautifully kept and very well equipped. It is a credit to the owners and the housekeeper. It is surprisingly peaceful as it is only 5 minutes walk from the beach and the catering facilities. Please do not book it until I have decided on my dates next year!!

Fantastic villa

We have been renting villas in the Algarve over the last 10 years and this is by far the best we’ve had.Amelia was amazing, plentiful supply of clean towels and bedding changed twice during our stay.We had a problem with the water supply during our first week when the local council turned all the water to the villa off but Amelia was as able to communicate with them and sort out a temporary fix which lasted for our stay. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to get us English TV which normally wouldn’t have bothered us but would have liked to watch the coverage of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend villa to all our friends and family.
