Great location and perfect for families

We had a great time at this lovely villa, which offered plenty of space for our family. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the outdoor area with sun loungers, the heated pool and the games area was perfect for everyone. The location was one of the best features — close to restaurants, shops and only a short walk from the beach. At the end of our stay, we also enjoyed having access to the company’s services, including boat trips, transfers and the Algarbe restaurant.

Villa San Juan

Overall we had a lovely stay here. The villa is well equipped, clean and spacious. The location was good, a short walk to local shops and bars and not much further to the town and beach. The pool was fantastic. A few minor tweaks would make the villa perfect, fixing a few light fittings, updating the outdoor table tennis and swing set and replacing the odd broken outdoor floor tiles.

Spacious and well-located villa in Carvoeiro

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at Villa San Juan. The villa is very well equipped and the layout works perfectly for families with children. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing and having meals together. The kids loved the pool and garden, while the adults enjoyed the peace and privacy of the area. Being so close to restaurants, shops and Carvoeiro Beach made everything more convenient. We also explored some golf courses nearby. A great place to stay in the Algarve!

Great location, beautiful home!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mari Serrano, great location and very nice place. Very spacious and clean, good walking distance to stores and restaurants. Our only thing was that it would have been nice to have some standard condiments there to start with or a little welcome package as we have had at other Vrbo’s that we have rented. Otherwise a great holiday!

Perfect villa for a family holiday

We had a fantastic time at Villa San Juan. The house is very spacious and ideal for large families or groups, with comfortable bedrooms and multiple bathrooms that made everything easier. The outdoor area is amazing, the pool was clean and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed the barbecue area and the games space with snooker and table tennis. The location is also a big plus, just a short walk to the centre of Carvoeiro and the beach. It was great to have everything nearby without needing to drive all the time. Highly recommend!

Spacious house with all the amenities but some things and decorations are outdated. We were not aware that there is a big construction site behind. Lots of dust and noise during weekdays. Neither expected nor warned at all.

Very disappointing family vacation. Ruined by construction site.

We have been in contact with VRBO and Algarve vacations. Our vacation was absolutely ruined by the construction right beside the back of the property. Noise started at 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday then 1/2 day Saturday. This was not reflected in the picture of the villa on the site and they construction has been going on for two years. We had one crane that swung over our villa. I cannot understand why this property is still being offered on the VRBO website.

Our recent family holiday in Carvoeiro

Inside, the villa was functional. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy for us to prepare meals together. The internet connection was reliable, allowing us to stay connected and entertained during our downtime. The beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep after long days of exploring Carvoeiro and its surroundings. The property was a comfortable base for our family holiday. Overall, our stay in Carvoeiro was pleasant, thanks in part to our accommodation, this villa could be a good choice.

15.6.25 -22.6.25 VILLA ADJACENT TO CONSTRUCTION SITE.Whilst the property reflected the photographs in its listing, the location and proximity to extensive construction works (that had been underway prior to 2024) did not fit the description or images. Beware that reviews for this property are NOT in chronological order. I have been in communication with Vrbo and Algarve Vacation to express my disappointment in their lack of accuracy about this villa to no avail. There were no sea views from the balcony or garden/pool area as it was totally obscured by a large construction site that extended the whole of the adjacent parkland beyond the length of the Q. ta do Sol Road. Overlooked by 2 large cranes and workmen on various buildings for 6 days of our 7 days stay from 8 am until 6pm whilst accompanied by constant noise including pneumatic drills wasn’t conducive to a relaxing family holiday. I am unable to view photographs from another review highlighting the same issues from July 2025. I am now attaching more recent photographs of the development including those from the construction company’s own website which you can hopefully view. There are many other properties I could have chosen in Carvoeiro that would have been more peaceful and relaxing, but we chose this one based on its advertised photos and description. BEWARE.
