"Far away from Shibuya, we traveled over 3 hours via public transportation to get here. We arrived at night, and it was a nice adventure with family. "Nestled up on the way to Mt Minobu, it's close to Kuonji Temple and the Ropeway, which you can reach on foot (though there is a bit of an incline.) "The hotel is a little older but very very clean. The rooms have a great view of Mt. Fuji. She was a bit shy during our short stay but we did manage to get a glimpse of her from our room. This place does not have an elevator but staff will carry your bags to your room for you. The standout here is the staff who were so friendly and welcoming compared to the bigger fancy hotels. We would stay here again just because of the lovely staff. "
