So beautiful and quiet with only a short walk down to the rocks at the bottom of the garden allowing you to jump straight into the sea, but the villa also came with a salt water pool and jacuzzi. Gio filled the fridge with wine and Prosecco and a bowl of home grown vegetables and fruit. The zucchini and tomatoes kept coming through the week. "Large comfy villa with superb pool and outdoor areas to enjoy. Beautiful gardens and stunning views of the sea with complete privacy. We hired a car to get around the island for day trips but there are a few good quality restaurants a short 10 min walk down the hill towards the sea front. Di Meglio Pizzeria and La Sciavica were both superb. La Mortella gardens were a 1 min walk from the villa and a must see as they are amazing. Would highly recommend this villa as a tranquil spot to enjoy Ischia...

"It’s not often that I’m left lost for words; however I genuinely struggled for the first hour or so of being at the property due to being totally overwhelmed by how lovely it is! From the furniture and fittings, to the pool, to the little extras such as the welcome food and wine package and complimentary toiletries, the owners have thought about every detail and the property is stunning. "The villa was great especially the pool area which we all enjoyed immensely. Unfortunately the area outside the gated area is dire. Little or no local amenities and the street was dirty and most buildings were abandoned. The blurb for the property was changed recently to state that a car was needed and had i seen that I wouldn't of booked as none of our party wanted to drive. Beach was good and the staff at local Lido were great. Again villa fab but location awful. Such a shame!"

"gîte situé en banlieue relativement calme ; neuf, propre et bien agencé sauf la cuisine qui pourrait être un peu mieux équipée ; néanmoins, si vous vous déplacez avec les transports en commun, la station de train proche est très peu desservie ! il vaut mieux utiliser la station san giorgio. Et si vous restez en ville un peu tard le soir, plus de train après 21h. Donc louez une voiture ou taxi à prévoir au budjet !"

"Really nice part of the island and great local beach amd thermal pools. Lovely village with great restaurants. Very steep roads if not driving. There is air con but not allowed to use it which was strange. Seemed well equipped but we didnt eat in. Bit basic amd a bit dark but perfect for what we needed."
