"Beautiful roof top apartment with spacious terrace and gorgeous view of lake Maggiore. Parking was available on the street by the entrance to the building. There is no AC and it was hot in August, however we enjoyed our stay very much. Walkable distance to the ferry and the center. Highly recommended!"

"Arrival was a bit confusing: getting a taxi was a small challenge (number posted by phone didn't work). Only one other challenge - finding the Cell number for the host buried in fine print/not obvious in the VRBO! The location of the Flat is in the center of the village where there is so many ristoranti, bars, pubs, tratorias and gelati olaces stand in the village you could spend a very long vacation in Stress and still miss some eating places!. "Our hostess was wonderful and the location of the unit is fantastic for access to the pedestrian area and the boat tour offices. As the weeks passed and we got comfortable, we found all that we needed in the cupboards and drawers to use the full kitchen facilities. I highly recommend it for a stay in Stresa and although we checked several towns on this lake and the others near it, Stresa is undoubtedly the best of the towns for walking around and enjoying the shops and restaurants. "

Quelques améliorations à propos de la logistique peuvent être apportées.Les restaurants de bord du lac sont très fréquentables ainsi que les commerces de "bouche" locaux.Une expérience à vivre: l’ascension du pic Sasso del ferro par le funiculaire.Un séjour bref mais très agreable."
