Extremely Disappointment Stay - Significant Issues with PESTS, A/C and Property Damage.
I am writing this review after SkyRun Vacation Rentals failed to address my concerns even dodging Vrbo's attempts at communication.My experience was highly unsatisfactory due to several critical problems:Mice Infestation: This unit has a severe mouse problem, which is a critical health and safety hazard, especially given I was traveling with two small children. I was initially concerned upon check-in when I noticed ultrasonic pest repellers. I observed mice in the kitchen. When I reported this, the rental company informed me that pest control was "already scheduled" for the next day. Their explanation that this was for "regular maintenance" was concerning, as it implied prior knowledge of an ongoing issue without disclosure. My request to be moved to an alternative unit was met with an offer for a more distant property and an additional 300 charge, which I declined. Their proposed solution was to stuff steel wool into electrical baseboards.Inadequate Air Conditioning: Despite being advertised with A/C, the unit lacks central air. Only two of the bedrooms have window units (which, upon reading the fine print to the description, this is mentioned). During our visit, temperatures exceeded 90F, and these units provided minimal relief, making the stay very uncomfortable.Property Damage Incident: The garage door malfunctioned while I was exiting, collapsing onto my car, causing damage. The sensors failed to detect my vehicle leading to a dangerous and costly incident.
