Gorgeous property

Absolutely loved the grounds, and the privacy of the two casitas for two separate couples. Only complaint would be the very complicated pool and spa heating, which was meant to be on a schedule that we pre-paid for, but never actually worked. Still hoping I can receive a refund for that.

Fantastic property out of a story book! If you want a unique getaway that combines modern amenities with historic ambiance, this is the place you should check out! It's really like nothing else in the area!

Great property and location

We stayed at the casitas for two weeks with our adult children and our dog. The property works well for adults who want some individual space and the outside space is terrific! a beautiful yard with grass, great pool and spa and outside seating areas. It was convenient to hiking and old town La Quinta. The property is quaint and historic, and that comes with some small issues. However, the management company LuxBox agency was terrific. They addressed all issues quickly and conscientiously! Thank you Luxbox

Shortly after we arrived, there was a police helicopter flying overhead for almost an hour, telling us to get inside the property and lock the doors. It was terrifying for my kids. We loaded the car up and left immediately and went to a hotel. I’m awaiting confirmation of a refundfrom the property manager, which I feel should happen given the circumstances and us feeling unsafe at the property

Relaxing Stay at This Quaint Property

Our foursome thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming pair of villas! The grounds are fairly sizable, offering room to spread out a bit and giving us decent privacy. Kitchens are well stocked and in good working order. Villas were very clean and had enough towels, soap, etc. Everyone slept well on the comfortable beds. Loads of great restaurants were within a short drive or bicycle ride. The heated pool and spa were the highlights of our overall amazing stay. We look forward to many relaxing returns!

Ultimate Desert Experience

Unique California hacienda experience! Perfectly represented in photos.Decor, beds,linens are pretty and comfortable.Great stay for 2 couples and a dog. Beautiful landscape and secure fencing, very private pool and hot tub. No need to venture out, a true experience . Property manager was awesome! Will return!

Another great stay at the casitas

We have stayed here once before and were happy to be back! They are dog friendly with plenty of grass and shaded areas, and the separate casitas gave everyone a little space and privacy. The pool/outdoor area is fantastic and the AC units do their job when it's time to come inside (important when it's over 100 outside). Looking forward to returning!

Amazing & Charming

Wonderful oasis!

This is a lovely property that has just the right amount of historIc charm and modern amenities. Lovely grounds and pool area, and the two Casistas would be great for 2 couples or a large family. We had a little problem with the spa heater, but the owners and managers went above and beyond to fix right away! Would definitely rent again!

Unpleasant and stressful

The property is well appointed with a particularly nice outdoor area. The problem is, you can’t use it. Within 15 minutes of arriving at the property, police showed up from a noise complaint. We were listening to music from an iPhone while unloading at 4pm on a Saturday. The police said our sound measured 55 db, which is basically the average person speaking voice and confirmed we didn’t do anything wrong. The police were very friendly and said this neighborhood is notorious for reporting rental properties no matter how well behaved the guests are. We could feel it every time we came in and out of the property…angry eyes from every neighbor. We were there for a family reunion, so we basically avoided being at the property as much as possible. Now for the part where the property owners didn’t do a good job: one of the beds had significant pubic hair all over the sheets and bathroom was covered with them as well. Absolutely disgusting. My brother in law and his wife ended up getting a hotel room. This place would be great if you were allowed to talk outside and the property owners did a better job cleaning. This is also a property that charges a cleaning fee, then requires you to do a significant chore/cleaning list before leaving. Wry poor value and wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

Beautiful!

This property is absolutely beautiful and exactly as it seems in the description. It is completely private, easy to get to and check-in/out. There were plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, etc! The hosts are available, not that we needed anything. ;) My family had a wonderful time and will definitely be trying to get here again!!!

Birthday Getaway

When searching for a property in the desert I looked for a nice pool (preferably heated) and dog friendly - this property fit the bill and then some! The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary items and the beds are comfy, but what we loved the most was the outdoor areas/yard and pool. We had a few glitches with the outdoor lighting but management was prompt to reply and remedy the situation. Looking forward to staying here again!

Beautiful escape!

We were a compilation of couples and roommates who spent 2 nights at this beautiful spot. Our time here was nothing short of sweet. The grills, fire pits, heated pool, and bikes, all get plenty of use and some great memories were made! The property was super close to some really cool dessert hiking and an assortment of grocery stores just down the street. As we entered the property we felt the weight of the world removed and would recommend this lovely spot for those looking for both peace and effortless fun!

Best escape ever!

The perfect private escape for my wife and I, and our son his wife. Two completely separate casitas with amazing charm. The kitchens weren’t large, but they were well organized with great appliances. We made great dinners and enjoyed the, in the large dining room as well as out at the fire table and on the patio table. Lots of places! We loved the casitas! Then, the grounds! Amazing....completely private with gates or walls all around. The pool area was fantastic. We were living the DREAM! Can’t wait to go back. Please people, don’t stay at this place between Christmas and New Years. We want that week each year going forward! But if you do take it, think of us while you’re laying by the pool.
