Seashell Cottage in La Jolla

  • Tastefully decorated in sea-inspired hues, Seashell Cottage is a classic California bungalow featuring hardwood floors and timeless coastal charm. Located in a peaceful Windansea Beach neighborhood, this private vacation home offers a relaxing and soothing retreat just steps from the ocean. Enter through the welcoming enclosed front porch into a spacious living room filled with natural light, comfortable furnishings, and ocean-inspired décor. French doors open to the patio, while the adjacent dining room seats six beneath a charming chandelier. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range, dishwasher, and everything needed for home-cooked meals. A laundry room with washer and dryer is conveniently located just off the kitchen with access to the backyard. This home features 3 bedrooms—2 queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with 2 twin beds—along with 1.5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are styled in calming coastal tones with luxury bedding for a restful stay. Step outside to a private fenced backyard designed for relaxation and entertaining, complete with a BBQ grill, outdoor dining for six, lounge seating, and an umbrella for shade surrounded by lush landscaping. Beach essentials including chairs and towels are provided. Parking is street parking only, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note there is no A/C; fans and heaters are provided for comfort. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

    Vacation Rental Contract
    You are booking with Casago San Diego, a professional local property management company. We require guests to complete our own “Vacation Rental Agreement” after they've made their booking. We do this to ensure quality and consistency for our guests and our homeowners.

    Identity Verification Guests are required to complete a separate identity verification process within 24 hours of booking. The link is texted to your phone. This protects you and us against fraud.

Awesome location! Adorable house!

The location was amazing! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and fun activities. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The beds were SO comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at this beautiful comfortable Cottage. It looked just like the online pictures, and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. Tons of food options right around the corner and so close to the beach. I recommended this home to any travelers!

Great family vacation

Cute place, easy walk to beach and downtown. Plenty of room for four adults. Great sushi and brunch places within 15 minute walk.

Seashell Cottage is a cute home away from home.

We had everything we neede to make our stay comfortable. My favourite was the great out door area and the location - just blocks from the ocean and a short walk to the village. Perfect!

The cottage in La Jolla

A beautiful and very comfortable place. It was much larger than the pictures showed. The patio area was very nice. It was within easy walking distance to the beach and to many restaurants.

Perfect

The house was perfect for our family. The patio was fantastic for our reunion plus the grandparents. Seashell cottage was fantastic and the Sea breeze team were always on hand when needed. We had a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend!

La Jolla lover

Our family loves La Jolla, especially this location which is so close to many of our favorite sites to visit. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach and you can even walk to restaurants. The Cottage is very bright and even has a backyard with furniture. It's a great neighborhood.

Fantastic

Seashell Cottage was fantastic! The house was very clean and well decorated which made us feel right at home. The location was so close to the beach, it made us fall in love. The management company, Seabreeze was always on hand when we needed them. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Simple, clean and convenient

Cute beach house conveniently located in quiet neighborhood close to everything! Very walkable. We had 4 adults and a toddler and it was perfect for us. Always had parking in front of the house once we rented a car.

Close walk to beach and restaurants. Enclosed backyard, if you are traveling with pets. Clean. We did not have any trouble finding street parking in front of place.

Perfect for my family of 5

We had a delightful stay! The home was immaculately clean and all amenities were easy to find. The lay out, décor and accommodations were what we expected from the photos. Parking was on the street but super easy - we always found a spot directly in front of the house. The neighborhood was quiet (we slept with the windows open each night and it was so peaceful). It was the perfect place to stay for my family of 5.

Nice house in nice location

The house was as expected. The outside patio is really pleasant and was perfect to have my children over for lunch. The house was really clean. It is located next to the beach with not too many people. In general it was a good experience.

Clean, comfortable, excellent location

My husband and I would happily rent this property again. Everything is as described, except for some of the upgraded furniture including a large sectional couch in the living room and a large cabana tent over the patio space. Walking distance to everything we needed but the neighborhood is friendly and quiet.

Great location

Easy to walk to the beach and La Jolla stores and restaurants. Quiet and safe neighborhood. The house is old and could have been cleaner. The floors and dishes were dirty and the half bathroom toilet keeps flushing. Also the bedroom door with the half bathroom is jammed and can’t be fully closed.

Adorable Cottage in La Jolla - Live like a local!

This adorable cottage-like beach house is perfect for a family vacation! There are very few homes in the cove/Windansea that can accommodate a family of three couples (three bedrooms). This one was perfect. It's walking distance to Windan beaches and downtown La Jolla shopping/restaurants. As someone who used to live in the area, you definitely get the local experience by staying here. SeaBreeze was very prompt and professional with all questions and accommodations. I highly recommend this airbnb!
