Great location for the beach and dining. House is wonderful. We had 7 people and plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Place is clean and plenty of towels. Plenty of room for everyone to sit, visit, what TV etc. We would stay there again.

We stayed here for a quick family vacation and absolutely loved it. The home was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. We hardly had to drive anywhere, which made the trip even more relaxing.Check-in was simple and seamless, and the host communicated clearly and quickly throughout the entire process. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of.Overall, it was the perfect place for a relaxing, fun-filled stay. We’re already looking forward to booking again!

We loved this home! It’s been beautifully renovated and very clean. It was a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. It was a perfect spot for our little family vacation. Would stay again!

Great location

Home is spacious and in a great location. It was clean, well equipped and we enjoyed the Pac-Man machine. I was disappointed to find that the Peloton has been removed, and we did have some issues with the road noise and AC - the downstairs was chilly while the upstairs stayed quite warm. Overall, a pleasant stay.

La Jolla Shores Getaway

This is a fabulous property! The check-in was easy, house was incredibly clean, beds are very comfortable, great space for a family! The hosts are also very responsive. We left an item behind and they helped us recover the item quickly. We have been visiting La Jolla every summer for over a decade and this is now ranks as our favorite place to stay. Thank you!

This cottage reminds you of The Hobbit - so charming!

This perfectly located cottage was oozing with old world charm yet had all the modern amenities. We were in town for a collegiate golf tournament and loved that we could walk 2 blocks, grab a coffee and walk the beach to the Pier each morning. Great little restaurants and shops easily accessible. The kitchen and baths are all updated with a good variety of dishes pots and pans - could use a few more utencils. Decor was beachy and went well with the cottage feel. Beds/furniture were comfy and we had a ton of fun playing the Arcade games. Who knew Grampa was a Galaga expert! The primary suite is upstairs and private, however bring an eyemask because the special windows don't have coverings. We did observe that the upstairs toilet flushing is a bit loud for those in the twin bedroom. The house is an original and with it came a bit of an old wood odor. Once we had the windows opened it was less noticable. Couldn't get the Peloton to connect, but I did bring my yoga mat and use the space next to the Peloton to get in some daily practice. Definitely will come again - Love La Jolla Shores.

Gorgeous, idyllic beach house

Stunningly remodeled historic home with unbeatable location. Everything walkable - 4 blocks from the beach and 2 from restaurants, shops - plus plenty of in-home entertainment. TVs in every room, retro arcade console and beautiful balconies for morning coffee/tea. Photos don’t do it justice - absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Amazing location, charm and comfort

I stayed at this amazing cottage house for my birthday weekend with my family and a friend. It was perfect in every way! Clean, great location, spacious, easy parking, and oh so charming. We enjoyed the beach, nearby restaurants and shop, and my only regret is that we didn’t stay an entire week. We will be back again and will certainly tell our friends about this incredible cottage. What a gem!

So happy we stayed here!

This rental had everything we needed and more. Very clean, comfortable with lovely interior design in a perfect location - an easy walk to the beach with some great restaurants/cafes just around the corner. It was a quick drive to the Cove area. Parking was easy on the street, but we had access to the garage spot as an option. We hope to stay here again!

Great house near the beach

Great house walking distance to La Jolla shores. Private yard, side entrance off busy street. Was great for my family with two little kids. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolute perfection

This home was everything and more! Honestly just stay here if you’re even contemplating between this and another place. We have 2 kids (5 & 3) and it was great sleeping arrangements, fun games plus arcade game, and quaint patio. Location is great near the beach and restaurants. Loved all the decor and furnishings too!! Can’t wait to come back.

BEST STAY EVER!!

I am one of those people that does an insane amount of research before booking anything and actually planned on staying at Del Coronado for this trip…and then we came along and saw this house. SO glad we stayed here instead. Everything was perfect. The linens were clean. The house was clean and amazingly conveniently located to all the great spots. It has a courtyard which is great for dropping stuff after a beach day and a little arcade which is great for those late nights. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and showers had shampoo and conditioner. Literally, this place has it all and I can’t recommend it any higher. Book it and enjoy the beach!!!

Very lovely, pleasant home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique "storybook cottage"! It is a pristine, comfortable, light-filled home. We loved that the house is just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful La Jolla beach (and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops)!

Within walking distance of the quaint town of La Jolla, this is a perfect home for a family getaway. The owners thought of everything to make this a wonderful home for our trip. Beautifully appointed decor in a bright, open home.
