  • Escape to Boot-sy Ranch, a private 21-acre retreat just south of Austin. This 4-bed, 2.5-bath luxury home comfortably fits 8 guests. This 21 acre property is yours to walk and enjoy the peace and quiet but quick and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Enjoy a gourmet kitchen, heated (optional) pool, and serene Hill Country seclusion. Perfect for families and groups seeking a unique blend of countryside charm and modern comfort, with easy access to Kyle, Austin, and Dripping Springs.

    The pool is treated weekly on Tuesday mornings. The pool can be heated during the cooler months, if night time temperatures falls below 50 degrees it is cost prohibitive to heat. I take a $300-$500 (depending on length of stay and temperatures) deposit to be applied to propane usage. The propane gauge is read when the heater is turned on and again when it is turned off and calculate the cost of heating the pool. There is only one shower in the master and the other full bath has a beautiful 60” claw foot tub with handheld shower

Nice private property in a good location close to everything in Kyle. The host was excellent. The place was clean. One draw back was only one shower. The other full bath is a claw foot bath tub only. We enjoyed having our own pool. We would stay there again the next time we are in kyle.

This property is wonderful! There isn’t anything negative about it. It was exactly as described, clean, kitchen was well stocked and communication by the host was the best we have ever experienced.We loved being outside by the pool annd swimming and the bonus was getting to see deer in the morning and evening. It’s such a peaceful house and allowed us to have great family time! The property is the perfect distance to everything you could want to do, equal distance to Gruene and Wimberley. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back!!

The home is very well appointed. Lots of supplies in the kitchen, coffee, creamer, PB&J in the cupboards. Pool is great. Rooms are spacious and nicely organized. Bathrooms are super clean and tidy. We (2 persons)only stayed one night but you could easily enjoy this property for several get-away days with either a family or a few couples. Went to Salt Lick BBQ for dinner or there is a roadhouse/bar just down the road

Quick family vacation.

Took a quick family vacation here and enjoyed it immensely!!! Everything is advertised and the property grounds are great! Family spent the day in the pool and in the evenings gathered at the dinner table. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at Nancy’s beautiful property with some friends and family. Every detail is well thought out for comfort, fun, and aesthetic beauty. We had everything we needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms and cozy beds. Feels like you’re away from it all, a home away from home, with the easy access to Kyle and Austin. Highly recommend and hope to come back again soon!

I hesitate to leave this review because I don't want to compete for reservations for this wonderful gem! Very clean, beautiful home and all the "little touches" made it very comfortable. I also own a VRBO property and know how much things like adequate shower pressure, a well-stocked kitchen, a huge fridge, double ovens, lovely linens, specialty soaps, etc. can make ALL the difference. More than enough towels, comfortable beds and bedding. The pool was gorgeous and a welcome break from the hot sun. I peppered the hostess with questions prior to our arrival, and she was very prompt with her replies. We hosted our two adult children and several of their friends for dinner and we all had plenty of room to spread out, eat tons of BBQ, watch TV, and play games. Conveniently situated to all the Hill Country has to offer and a HUGE HEB grocery. We will definitely be back!

Great Hostess

Nancy was easy to work with and very accommodating. She checks up on you regularly to make sure everything is going as planned. She even gave recommendations for places to eat. Very personable.

Wish I could of stayed longer

I wish we could of stayed longer. It's so peaceful and beautiful, but still within minutes of town for us who forgot to pack items. The house is thoughtfully decorated with all the conveniences of home. The Pool! It is amazing! I didn't get in but enjoyed sitting out on porch listening to it and watching all the wildlife. The Host was fabulous and everything is just as it is listed, although the pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous, spacious home for our large crew

Six of us traveled from the Midwest to visit with my daughter and fiancé who live in Austin. The home is located on farm property away from the hustle and bustle and noise. Perfect place to bbq with a big group, and plenty of yard to play corn hole, spikeball, etc. If you love to cook, the kitchen is well equipped, complete with an oversized refrigerator/freezer as well as plenty of counter space. It's hard to find a rental that will accommodate so many people comfortably. This trip was a reunion of sorts, and this ranch home really fit the bill. We're all gamers, so the ping pong table was a hit as well. Would have loved to have been able to use the gorgeous pool for anything but a polar plunge, but is was WAY too cold for any of us to swim. Great communication with the hosts; highly recommend for a large group!
