It's Hongkong, it's like the "New York" of Asia. You're lucky if you get a room with a bed and your private bathroom. What was disappointing for me is that I booked my room thru Expedia, when I checked in, they charged me another HK100 dollars for some property charges and then another HK250 dollars for cleaning. Julian, the nice receptionist explained to me that the cleaning fee was for everyday cleaning. Well, we stayed for 6 days and they cleaned the room twice. And "clean" means, throw garbage away and tidy up the sheets. Did not change the sheets at all, not even once. It was hot during our stay so imagine the same bed sheets for 6 days when you're sweating while sleeping. Matresses are 3-inch so if you're older with back problems, you'll find it uncomfortable. There was a small tv in the room but did not work, remote control did not have batteries. Small sink in the bathroom can easily get clogged and rusty, I did like the location, very close to everything, basically in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui which is one of the popular shopping areas of Hong Kong. I would stay there again and I recommend it for budget-conscious visitors but just know that it's not a 5-star, not even a 3-star. But if you're like me who just need a bed and a bathroom for the night while enjoying the sights and places in Hongkong during the day, this will work.
