First off, this is a little oasis in the beauty of the Kootenays. The location is perfect, the view is spectacular and it has all the amenities you will need to be in total comfort. There has been a great deal of thought put into this property. From the outdoor shower to the fire pit(wood included), to the fully screened dinning area, I couldn’t think of anything you could add to improve the quality of your experience. The lake is absolutely amazing as well. The owners are very knowledgeable and caring. We would definitely recommend this property! You won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for uninterrupted quiet and seclusion, then this is the place to be. The tiny cabins had just enough space to enjoy, as the outdoor area is what really shines. The gazebo and fire pit seating area allowed for dinners and sky-gazing on clear nights. The hosts were kind, thoughtful and easy to contact.

Beutiful views, great amenities, and a host who made sure we had everything we needed made for a great vacation. Our dog harriet loved it too. I would stay there again no question about it.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was organized and well taken care of. They had everything you needed to have a comfortable stay. Amazing view of the lake as well and we took advantage of twin bays beach a lot, which was an amazing beach. We didn’t use the private beach much because of the mosquitos during our stay. They had a bug net over a gazebo which was lovely. Definitely take the hosts recommendation for a 4 wheel drive vehicle to park, I found the parking pretty steep (keep in mind I’m only a city driver) and ended up parking just before the parking area which wasn’t bad at all either. Overall, it’s a great place to be close to the beach and have a glamping experience!

Wonderful!

This is a great place to stay! A little quirky with the 2 shacks but it has everything! The location is stunningly beautiful! We found the location to be very central to both the east and west side of Kootenay Lake and the free ferries are quick and easy to take. The heater in the eating tent is brilliant; we were always comfortable eating in there. The hosts were very accessible and very accommodating.

Perfect home away from home

The tinies were the perfect place to stay for a long weekend away! Very private and beautiful location, cabins were exactly as described in the ad. We really enjoyed our time and would love to go back.
